9/14/24: Umm, umm, umm and OMG to boot! Pam, I don't know which one I like best between this one and your Shabby Chic Vintage JJ, which I just viewed. This is phenomenal and gorgeous beyond too. The time you took in putting this together based on all the elements you included in this JJ is out of this world and crammed with every creative imagining one can think of with every turn. It's a lot of work! The person I'd gift the one I make to would HAVE to have an appreciation for something like this and love it as much as I did while making it. On the other hand, I may have a hard time letting it go, LOL! Nevertheless, I've been making my rounds to various thrift stores, with purchases from Temu, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, etc. and I've got everything (and more) I need to make a few, but I don't know where to begin. Perhaps I'll lay out my elements and include a little bit of this, that and the other and hopefully it'll click as to where I'll be going with it, but I've gotta start somewhere. I know this much, if I keep going through your library of work, I'll be sitting at my computer till tin-buck-too and NEVER get started making my own -- you've got a lot. LOL! The recipient of this baby is in for a real treat, and it definitely makes for a conversation piece! Thanks again for all that you do to inspire me with your incredible work. Whew!! 😊

I am thrilled that you are loving my journals! Yes, these type of journals do take a while to complete, but it's the process that I love and the result is so gratifying. The recipient of this journal definitely appreciated the time and work involved in it's creation, she loves it! WOWZA!!!! 🤩This journal is oozing with "DECANDANCE Pam!!!" 🥰🤩😊 How much does it weigh??? 😋 You really outdid yourself with this journal! Love the big red & pink floral applique! Everything in this journal that I love! roses, flowers, gardens (my father had lovely rose gardens when I was growing up. I have all his letters he wrote to my Mom when he was in WW2), hearts (my birthday St Valentine's Day) Edwardian & Victorian Era, laces, beautiful gowns. Where did you get the vintage post cards? I have all my vintage birthday cards saved from when I was little and throughout the years, I'm now 75. I am a saver of family heirlooms My all-time favorite movie is "Gone With The Wind." I think I was born during the wrong era! LOL I really relate to the 1800's. Downtown Abby is one of the best series ever made, in my opinion! Your pretty wrist bracelet is hand designed by you, I'm sure. Have you kept any journals you have made for yourself? It has to be hard to part with the ones you create. The person getting this should be thrilled beyond measure!!! 💜💜

HI Patricia! Thank you so much for the kind words! I go to antique stores and a postcard and ephemera show whenever there is one in town to get my postcards. I LOVE vintage birthday cards, I am going to do a children's birthday card journal sometime in the future. I agree with you on Downton Abbey! Love it! Yes I did create the bracelet - it was a while ago and I said - why not wear it for the flip through! Yes, it is hard to part with the journals I create as I love all of them. 😍😍❤❤🌺🌺
