Your friend Josh showed up a lot more than I thouht he would. I was gobsmacked when he pulled all that viney vegitation off that carport drive. It's a good thing you gave the homeowner 6 days, because it looks like it's going to need it. Will look for the next video and see how things progress. So far so good. I sure hope there will be someone else who will come along and haul away all the unneeded stuff/trash. Good work and your lucky to have such good help on this one.

It's often not the amount of work, it's getting rid off the foliage you cut down. For example my friend's house here in Britain, typical Victorian terrace, only access to the garden through the house on a busy road ( so no skip) and a few, narrow, wonky steps from the house into the garden. I gave up helping her, as he also only got a drive to do it once a year.
@clairedaines508 Жыл бұрын
Might have been simpler to hire a chipper, so any cut foliage simply becomes mulch for the rest of the garden? Then the only thing to take in and out through the house is the machine, as long as there's room.
@earthtrimgardens2249 Жыл бұрын
Chipping is quite time consuming so it would still take around the same amount of time. Then there is the cost of hiring the chipper itself. Unfortunately the council only has a certain budget they are willing to spend on this job.

Under what circumstances would a local council involve themselves in, or assume the cost of, maintenance on private property?
@earthtrimgardens2249 Жыл бұрын
I believe it's for a couple of reasons. 1. Neighbours making complaints. 2. The owner not having the means themselves due to illness.
