Decapattack - Magical Hat Sega Genesis Megadrive Cover Arts Regional Differences

DEcapAttack, is a reskinned port of Vic Tokai's previous 1990 platformer game Magical Hat no Buttobi Turbo! Daibouken. Elements have been changed in levels and the design is now darker with a horror theme and the main character a mommy that can throw its skull.A new fantastic soundtrack was also introduced. It was released a year later in 1991, and is an improved version of the previous game. It was never released in Japan as decapattack.
Similar platformers released by VIC Tokai exists such as Psycho Fox for the Sega Master System released in 1989.
This short video shows the different Cover Arts depending on the region the game was distributed. Such regional differences were common back then, also games were rarely released at the same time.
