I have the 2023 replacement for this. Decathalon Stilus “BIG MTN”. 750 battery , I’m delighted with it. (I’m in Portugal… I’m not sure it’s arrived in the U.K. yet) I like the way it handles, it comes with well damped suspension and I’ve had zero pedal strikes so far even if fast downhills with a heavy and old rider !

I'm looking at one, perhaps even the model up. I've heard of chain slippage in the reviews of the bike on Decathalon, have you had problems with it?

There's nothing wrong with the suntour stuff, I have one of their air forks on one of my bikes and I find it fine, I have a rockshox on another bike and I can't tell the difference. There's a lot of snobbery in cycling, and if you don't have certain brands some will look down their noses at you. I have noticed on most E-bikes regardless of cost, is, that they seem to omit certain things that you can get with DIY kits, I have brake levers that are connected to the motor as well as a sensor on the gear cable, all of which cut the motor when activated, taking stress off the drive train, I would of expected bikes costing thousands would have had these as standard.

hope you are well, my dad, 66 is looking for an E-bike, this looks great, would you recommend an M, he is about 5ft8 at the most I think. Also is the seat a dropper seat, so can be changed when riding without having to get off, do u live close to QE, we from pfield, - thanks for your time, rang around lots of shops and no one seems to have them in-store to look at which is annoying, thanks again

Concerned how noisy your Bosch motor is. I have the Brose motor on my E ST 900 and is silent in comparison. I have done 3.500 miles in 12 months and the motor is still silent. An Incredible bike for the Money. Chapeau Rockrider.

Be warned.. The mucoff sealant is useless. I've had to take tyres off flush out the mucoff and replace with decent sealant that works. Like orange. Avoid mucoff

Instead of getting this bike + replacing both suspensions with rock shox, you could get a "properer" bike with larger battery, dropper and proper shocks for less money all together (like wheeler e hornet )
