On my 18 there is a hole above each headlight and u stick a screwdriver in there to adjust the level of ur headlights u will see plastic fins maybe different on a 2020

Yeah the lights are fully adjustable. It's just a simple nob you twist to raise or lower the beam pattern

Do the LED chips need to be oriented a certain way? On my last truck they had to point left and right. Just wondering if same applies with these

I don't think so. With the ridges/grooves for the lighting to go in and lock into place the LED's can really only be in one predetermined position to my understanding

Is the higher lumen means brighter? I bought Sealight H4 6000 Lumen for my Tacoma, would 12000 Lumen look anything like yours?

Good for you - the visibility is great, but just a heads up - switching the led bulbs the stock reflector housing is a recipe for blinding people down the road. The reflector buckets will just spread the light everywhere and is actually considered illegal (of course it would be rare to actually get fined for it) It’s the difference between seeing focused bright white headlights of a factory led headlight with projector lamps that do not blind you and then the next one that just seems like it’s going right into your eyes - just thought you should know.. good luck! Thank you Uttam, I have found that by adjusting the headlights themselves I was able to lower the beam trajectory and saved the eyesight of everyone in oncoming traffic haha

They flicker... I just returned the entire set... h11... 9005... and fog lights.. flickering from day one after install.. lasFit said it was normal operation... I returned lights and got my money back no questions asked

Engineers don't care if you can see well at night...they don't care if you can fix anything without removing 20 different things...they change proven designs sometimes just because they get paid to. Remote oil filters are a good example. Been around for decades...no brainer...but Ford still puts the filters in the worst possible place to get to and ...again...Engineers don't care. LED lights are great...problem is many people don't know how to aim them and that's what causes the "blinding effect". Adjusting the aim is super simple on these trucks as noted above.

Did you perform a “before and after” beam adjustment on a wall (per the owner’s manual) to ensure the LED’s beam pattern is not aimed too high? Not properly adjusting the beam pattern is irresponsible and dangerous to others on the road.
