Yeah, those are the theoretical best picks, in terms of their strengths in the current patch (heroes change often…).

For eg, the soldier pick by birdring in the first round maybe wouldn’t be considered meta by some, because teams have shown that running the sombra allowed more versatility and utility, in terms of diving, a better ult, and hacking packs for your ball/tracer…

It's pretty rare to not mirror comps especially meta ones since the hero comp is simply better then others. We see this when zombie gets destroyed by this orientation of dive in the Shanghai vs Dallas game
