I thinks it’s a good crazy; the OST is fire, it has good detail, and isn’t an unfair map difficulty-wise. The only thing wrong with it is the lag it can cause on mobile devices and other low-end technology.. which was originally fixed, but then ELiTe made it laggy again

It is unfair when it comes to chaos servers, but it was always broken when it came to chaos, imo a mix between the old and the new rocket launch would've been perfect imo.

Honestly it's my favourite map, I like how strict it is on solo, how shortcuts get patched, the OST really is a banger and syncs perfectly, the transition to the second drop is fire, the part after funnily enough syncs with the song (y'know, after the first tower, there's this part where u gotta wraparound, slide, press buttons, bring down the lava, jump, wall jump, etc... That syncs with the little melody it has in that part due to many different activities). I like the use of ziplines a lot, wall jumps too, the fact that the tower gives you some time to sight read it and all. But I agree, sometimes it's pretty laggy and that's kind of ruining the map. Seriously though, lag is proof of many scripts and decoration used. It's not bad, it's just annoying at times I believe.

i personally think silo is fine. yeah the gameplay is yet to be desired. but the main problem i have is the lag as you said. given how roblox handles inputs makes silo pretty much unplayable with inputs not registering. if it gets updated next week with only optimization fixes. then i’d think it’ll be a lot better

I think the first buff it got was deserved: it mainly polished the map and removed OP shortcuts. But the second buff was just stupid. The buff was completely unnecessary and just made it more confusing, and it made the second button grouped (WHY?). The ingame version as of now feels a bit better, but I would rather it just stayed how it was after it's first buff.

I would eventually want to make a video on updates that were disappointing to players including decaying silo. Now don't get me wrong DS is a really good, detailed map no disrespect to maxi at all, but the way how the map was getting multiple buffs kinda ruined the map. I totally agree with the lag thing, i play on xbox and i thought it was just because my xbox is bad but that was because as you explained, OBS doesnt pick it up. I had to play the entire game on low graphics- completely ruining the immersion just to beat 1 map since when you are in a pro server, all anyone ever selects is AVM and DS. Amphibious billow deserved that spot

I think Crazyblox chose Decaying Silo as permanent over Amphibious Billow because of the interesting theme, consistent gameplay, and good pacing, don’t get me wrong, Amphibious Billow is great, but the pacing of the map is very slow and confusing, which is why Decaying Silo was added.

silo itself is actually quite an interesting map with a unique theme not executed before. the execution of silo was quite nice but the follow up is like the worst fall I've ever seen for a map 1. the optimization is just the worst thing ever i have more fps on nos astra than a map that doesn't even look hyperdetailed in any way 2. the amount of unnecessary updates the map got every 5 seconds just straight up resetting the muscle memory of everyone 3. the lack of playtesting like bro you know you fucked the playtesting up when the most obvious and op shortcut manages to slip into the main game undetected. plus it feels like the map was playtested on multiplayer cuz playing it on solo is just the most atrocious experience ever really sad to see such an interesting map bring its downfall tl;dr : og version 🔥 the follow up sucks should've let mar solo who let elite cook ps: asking others to "get good" doesn't prove that you are right nor disprove the other's opinion like get an actual good counter argument jesus

My opinions on this map have gotten worse since I posted this video. Think about it, decaying silo uses the same theme the whole way through, the same copy pasted platforms. You don’t go anywhere. The OST is a complete mess and has no direction. And the pacing is horrible for the map and makes it not fun at all (unlike AVM where the pacing is justified). As of right now, decaying silo is my least favorite map in flood escape 2.
