That’s a really good tip about leaving the nails out just a little bit. Thanks for sharing that. I may have some “un nailing” to do. As I was looking for a remote thermometer, many people recommended an oven probe. Is that what you ended up using?

What size liquid tight conduit did you use? Enough room to get the wire thru ok?

How do you like the Seal Once Nano Poly? I ordered the clear/matte version.

Hi! My Costco 4 person is on its way! What are your thoughts about using screws instead of nails? I could remove the screws to adjust/tighten the staves?

The nano poly has held up well, I would use it again, easy to put on. I would just use the nails and not hammer them in all the way so you can pull them out. Or if you had a couple of people to just hold the staves in n place till you get the bands on would work.
