Here's an idea: put up a game cam around one of your water tanks to see what other animals, other than cattle, come for water since it is in short supply. I am writing from an area in Canada that averages about 36 inches a year, not near the same. All the best on the next 18!

My childhood was spent sorting steers like that. In and bye we’re our words. Learned how to keep the gate at arms length and not up close so you had a shock absorber too. 😂

Sorry about the other post, hit the button to quickly. I don’t know what you do with the metal tubs or the plastic mineral tubs, but this is just n idea. Take the plastic tubs, wash them up n then sell the empty tubs at your local feed store or put them on eBay or other selling sites. People love to buy the tubs, especially people who live in town or cities, to put them on their patio n grow vegetables in. Some people paint them n some don’t. They make great vegetable gardens. About 5 or 6 years ago, Tractor Supply, farm store, was selling brand new tubs, like the plastic mineral tubs for $20 apiece. You could probably get around $15 apiece for your used ones. Just an idea for your children to make some extra spending money.
