𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋: Luke 3:10-18
The Gospel this Sunday teaches us about the spirit of sharing and contentment. We are being warned about having more than what we're expecting to receive. A true person of God shares what he or she has to others, especially for those in need. This season is also calling us to be more generous to others and to the church, accepting people in our lives as Christians and in the church of God.
Reflect on this as we celebrate the Kapamilya Sunday Mass today, December 15, 2024, with Father Tito Caluag.

When I studied about Niccolo Machiavelli, most of his philosophies are not targeted to good people but to sinners. He gave them a philosophy of changing from vice to virtue. If a man can't choose a good, at the very least, he must choose a lesser evil. The same with John the Baptiser. He preached on what a person must do if they can't perform greater good, make their action lesser evil: The rich must share at least their surplus. Tax collectors must not exploit but collect only what is due. Soldiers must accept their wages and not extort from innocent or bear false witnesses. I'm not saying to be stagnant to lesser evil, but make our good a constant, change for the better, evolve in spirit not just the body. May God/Elohim bless you all.
