Yes it is heartbreaking what is even more heartbreaking that someone consider as normal to order people to go to risk their life to give up family preciouss time to "serve country".Of course that army must have rules but we are not in the time of world wars.The states which sends soldiers are not clisely endangered.There is no need to sacrifise family time especially time like birth of a child.Our army is also part of NATO they also go for deployment but when a soldier finds out his wife is pregnant he can be replaced.I think this is very good way how to express that family comes first.The missions of NATO are completely voluntary in our army and still soldiers are "fighting" to get in.Seriously dear America try to think more what can you do for your heroes.
