What unusual fall/winter we are having in Texas! I still have vincas blooming and a gardenia in a pot on patio full of buds!. Not sure what I’ll have tomorrow though…. Supposed to get to 34* tonight near Dallas. You still have so many pretties looking wonderful! Always love your videos. Merry Christmas! 🎄

Wow!!! Having to cut that tree down in the front yard is the best thing that ever happened to that shrimp plant and everything else out there! I’m loving all the pink too! And that gomphrena! Woowee!!! It’s fabulous! - LOL about Buttercup chasing the butterflies! Hims made a new friend! - Oh! Is that a salvia that has powdery looking mildew on it? I’ve gotten blue salvia with small leaves (I don’t know the name of it) several times and had to yank it out because of powdery mildew. I won’t get them anymore. It is the only salvia that has disappointed me. - Yay for native cherries!!! And that is such a beautiful plant with pink flowers, so it’s a winner all the way around! I gotta see if it will like living here! - Dang! Everything is looking so lush and healthy! It really is like second spring there! - Haha about threatening that beetle! I’m proud of you for waiting to smush him off camera! LOL! - I hope y’all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Nee Year!!! God bless y’all everyone!!!

You have so many beautiful flowers this month, the shrimp plant is spectacular. The weather is crazy as always, but your plants are just ignoring it and doing their own thing.

lol! This garden definitely has a mind of its own. I didn’t realize how things change SO MUCH over the years until I started making videos!

The cherries are actually a super fruit. They contain more vitamin c than an orange. They are edible. I pick them off mine and eat them. The darker the cherry the sweeter they are

you may have mentioned this before but I'm not clear as to whether you have a no spray garden approach or a minimal one. I ask because you pointed out the plant which was heavily covered with powdery mildew and that you'd be possibly cutting it back. So if you are indeed no spray, do you find most plants, such as thrips on roses, eventually revive themselves and get a stronger immune response? I had read someplace that this could happen if we don't spray at the first sign of trouble which has been tough for me to sit back and watch.

Is your desert willow in clay? And does it smell as good as Laura from garden answer says it does? She has a proven winners chitalpa. And I’m with you about the color yellow although I did get a lance leaf blanket flower at Buchanan’s which has light yellow flowers with a dark purple center! It’s one on my favorite flowers

Mind if I ask what day you filmed this? The past few days?
