Nung napanood ko yung movie 2 months ago, nashook ako kasi ang ganda nung plot. It's really nice, indie vibes lang din. Pero the thing is, dito, may fragments talaga ng buhay manila. Yun yung hinahanap ko kasi sa films, hindi yung sobrang raw na just poverty or yung sobrang yaman, kasi may mga films na ganon. Eto kasi, yung mediocre life. Yung stability na parang nangyayari na lang. Walang hinahanap. Idk fuck my life anyway. What scene really gets me the most is yung part na nasa rooftop si anna at sam. Nagkkwento si anna about sa airplanes, and how nung bata sya, may nakita syang airplane and paglingon nya, iniwan sya ng fam nya. Tas coincidentally, may dumaan din nung sila lang ni sam. Foreshadowing yung ending nila. But what's the catch? Isa likes planes. It's her thing. So in a way, parang kinuha din ni isa paalis si sam.

Panoorin mo po yung prequel film nila: “Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa” this film will connect the dots, and lets you see the backstory behind Isa and Sam from 5 yrs ago (movie timeline), ganda din yung plot twist niyan. Also, you will notice a difference in terms sa color grading, and etc sa videography ni Direk Nestor sa movie na yan. It’s like night and day, but with that aside. Panoorin mo yung prequel.

This movie somehow makes me miss Manila. I had a girlfriend for more than 4 years and we were classmates during High School. We both wanted to study in Manila. Sa NU talaga dapat ako since nandun yung Kuya ko. And she applied in UE and other schools pero walang Architecture dun, and unexpectedly, sa NU din pala yung bagsak niya since may course na yun dun. Kaso lang nagkasakit ako and my parents didn't allow me to go far so I stayed in province. Nung LDR na kami, we had a lot of misunderstandings since busy kami both sa college life and nawawalan na siya ng time for me. Patagal nang patagal, bihira na lang siya magparamdam. She didn't even greet me on my birthday. Unti-unti kong natanggap na ayaw na niya. Ilang buwan na ang nakaraan, nagkausap ulit kami at nagpatawad sa isa't-isa and now we're good as friends. Pero hanggang ngayon, napapaisip pa rin ako. What if our plans went well? What if nag-aral din ako sa NU? Siguro masaya kami. Siguro madalas kami lumabas para mamasyal at pinagluluto niya ako. Siguro motivated din ako mag-aral dahil kasama siya. Siguro kami pa rin hanggang ngayon. Our faith could have been different if we both studied in Manila. At hanggang ngayon, nandito pa rin yung panghihinayang. Yung mga sana na hindi natupad. Pero masaya ako sa ilang taon na pagsasama. Nakakamiss lang. She will always be my greatest love.

Kahit itaob mo pa ang Pilipinas, kung hindi ka na mahal ng tao, the best you can do is to give that person space he/she needed. Not everyone can afford to stay in a stagnant relationship. Giving up is not synonymous with unloving the person. And letting go is another form of love. "Bakit kailagan ipagdasal mo ung kaligayahn nya ? Alam mo ba nararamdamn nya ? Natanong mo sya ?" Do you really need to know kung ano nararamdaman ng tao bago mo ipagdasal ang kaligayahan niya? Is praying/wishing for that person's well-being really that hard kung mahal mo naman talaga? You pray for the best things that life has to offer para sa taong mahal mo not because it's a requirement but rather it's something that your heart wants to do. You're refusing to learn things because it's nonreciprocal. You don't want that person to be happy because you gain nothing from it. Hindi sa AYAW mo mag-mature, hindi mo KAYA mag-mature. Sa part na to, I think ikaw yung makasarili.

10 years ago I made dumbest decision in my life at that time ang bata pa namin estudyante palang kami non senior high parang ganon. He really loves me di sya nagsasawang iparamdam sakin yon halos sa buong limang taon naming mag on di sya nagbabago. Pero di ko na napaparamdam sa kanya ang pinaparamdam nya sakin dahil sobrang busy graduating kasi kami non. At our 5 years anniversary I broke up with him and I was an adult now. I absolutely love the cinematography in this music video. It's well-crafted and shows us a peek but not giving away too much of what's going to happen in the next movie. I love how the film is colored, it's not too flashy in the sense that the colors are jumping right at your eyes. It's not too washed out either that you'd wish for it to be saturated just a tad bit. It's just the perfect mix of color that conveys feelings and nostalgia. The framing is to-die for especially the framing of that one scene of Vera and Alex Media looking out at the terrace. Though I wished they'd have shown us the footages from the trailer, the individual footages that made me fall in love more with this film's cinematography. However, one of the best things about this mv are the parallel scenes from the first movie and the second one. They recreated the most iconic scenes of that movie and placed it here, only with different elements to it. Like the scenes of Vera and Alex Medina, as well as Anna Luna and Nicco Manalo's respective car scenes which parallels the long taxi ride from the first movie that kind of solidified the first movie's silent build up. The next one is the scene of Nicco Manalo and Anna Luna in the LRT. Again, a parallel of Sam and Isa's past before Isa left for the US. It's bittersweet and leaves you wanting more than what you're given. I can't wait to see this in the cinemas.
