I loooove these videos. They’re so helpful. I cannot express how thankful I am that you showed that you sometimes print multiple photos ! I do this all the time! I thought it was just me. Now, I can give myself a bit of grace 😊. Thank you for mentioning that, Ali.

These videos do help! I am definitely not in a season of my life where memory keeping seems very positive. But your words have been encouraging me to look for the little stories and I have been very surprised with what I've found-so thank you =)

I love your videos. I know it takes a lot of work to post daily, but you really are an inspiration. Definitely might have to borrow some of your ideas for my own album.

I saw on the KZbin channel that they used a piece of acetate to trace their pattern so they could see through to the picture better. Just a thought. But I absolutely love this idea. I’m going to have to try this.

Nice video but I do have a suggestion for your half hart shaped photo.....if you have the heart shape in your silhouette software you can place the photo in the shape and cut of the rest and let the machine cut out the shape....saves you lots of photo paper and printer ink

Hi! Here's a post I wrote about that: aliedwards.com/2017/10/printers

Just wanted to make a suggestion...I took your Product Play class (not finished everything yet, but enjoying it and trying everything)...and I made this heart in my Cameo very easily and then brought my photo in to size it inside half the heart. The other thing I did was to take a screen shot of the cut file (or just scan your hand cut heart) and open it in Photoshop to type my journaling on one half, then save and open in Cameo to do a print and cut, or print out and hand cut if you are not using a Cameo...same thing goes for the photo. That could just be brought in to Photoshop and sized over your scanned in shape. Hope that makes sense.

Hi! Yes, of course! In the class I wanted to make sure that some of the projects didn't include using technology (some did of course) for people that don't have a Silhouette and aren't familiar with scanning or photoshop.

Yes...Ali...I totally get it. For classes I know you need to keep things doable for everybody. I just wanted to share what I did in case it makes sense for someone reading this who has the technology. Ironically I was just working on my heart as well the past couple of days (I did a map as well and hand stitched the word HOME) and I'm finishing it for my book today. I will tag you when I post it on Instagram 😀
