This reminds me, I need to get my amaryllis out of the basement. I was late getting them tucked in there for dormancy. I just have a few and they are the rescues I found at the end of the season a few years back but they sure do bring such beauty to my office during the dark winter months. Your tour is inspiring. Danielle, I have those same bells and they were also my grandmother’s. She and my grandfather raised me and my sister after the death of our mom and our dad wasn’t well. It brought tears to my eyes hearing them play in your video but in a good way! I absolutely love your videos and Gracie is a joy as well- such a personality!! Your Christmas decorations and amaryllis collection are beautiful, my 4 are still very slow to even sprout after 3 weeks and one is getting soft, thinking about removing it from the pot and give it a drying out 🤷🏻‍♀️. My heart sunk when I saw your sweet girl Gracie, our precious Silver Lab named Gracie passed 2 1/2 years ago at a young age from cancer. She brought back good memories though too. Thank you for sharing.

Your amaryllis are so beautiful Danielle. I potted two of my northern hemisphere bulbs on Nov 17th and still no blooms. One has just one long leaf and the other has 3 leaves slowly coming out. Definitely an exercise in patience. 😊

My Stargazer Amaryllis bloomed just in time for Christmas week. The 3rd and 4th blooms should open tomorrow, Christmas day! Only problem, the stalk is 3 and 1/2 foot tall and had to be tied up to keep from tilting the whole flower pot over! The leaves alone are 3 feet tall !
