Gotta love Texas weather. 🤭 I’ve misplaced a box of seeds. I need to get back out in the garden and look for them. Then I can sow more seeds. I have not been successful with my carrots.🤦🏽♀️ Thanks for sharing.🤶🏽🎅🏽⛄️

We've had a pea power shift in our home. Mrs Bowtie finally convinced me that I like those sugar snow peas I keep growing more than she does. Next spring, I will finally be free to each most of them as garden snacks while I'm out there! 😂😂😂 You'll have sprouts in no time at those temps!!😮

I just moved and cannot wait to start planting too! And speaking of beets. I have the same love of beets and the same trouble growing them. I thought I was doing something wrong until Serena at You Can't Eat the Grass said that beets need lots of boron to grow. I tried it (before I moved) and it worked great! You can treat boron deficiency by adding a boron additive or borax to the soil around your beets. You can mix one tablespoon of borax with four liters of water and spread it over nine square meters of soil. You can also apply a liquid seaweed fertilizer as a foliar feed. Hope this maybe helps you too 'cause for now, I have to live vicariously until I get my new gardens set up. 😄Your set-up looks awesome!

girl....it is 2 degrees here.....I cant start anything until the end of February in the house.. then I cant plant until late April out side. But I can dream .... I am working on beaded plant stakes and will be turning a old bowling ball into a gazing ball for my garden... keeping my hands busy in this winter wonderland here in up state NY. Love your videos Nichole :)

Hey Nicole, glad to see you are still dropping seeds and planting garlic, I hope all of them do well. Happy gardening and Happy holidays.
I pulled my carrot and radish LEAVES yesterday. Which did better than my beets. I saw a KZbinr do winter sowing with beets and carrots and let's them grow in clumps. Since I already have jugs ready for winter sowing, I may add a 3 more to the mix.

@@Ms.SheriT haha, I hate when I pull just “leaves”, so disappointing! One of these days I’ll try winter sowing 🤔

Looks like a white Christmas here, presently 19°F and 2” of ice crusted snow with a snow shower happening as I type this. Gosh I was harvesting tatsoi 3 days ago. It will warm up to high 30s to the low 40s by Christmas Eve. So maybe it won’t be a white Christmas! 🤞I still have kale to harvest!

@@TexasGardeningGal hey, girlfriend! ❤️ Well, I’m not sure what kind it is. I got a partial roll from a garden friend. It’s a weaved plastic of some sort. I overlapped each row about 5 inches. We’ll see if anything pops through 👀🤞
