Changes don't come without putting the foot down and EVERYDAY being committed about it! Going back to earlier success days ("gotta make it happen days") and remembering how serious were these days would instantaneously help with undisciplined behavioural. Good Luck

Hi Tim, Great recap. Really appreciate you putting yourself out there and venting your frustrations. Your going about it the right way to correct your habits, making yourself accountable and tracking everything. Just remember that you have time on your side and a good size account. Every challenge will help you get past this and get to the next level. Remember to be great full and it's always ok to want more as long as your happy with what you currently have! All the best in 2016!

Dang Tim, I hope that soon I will be at that level where I will also be absolutely disgusted with a 16k month.

this is what I call a real trader, one that is friendly, articulates well, can talk openly about the things he needs to work on and stays humble through out. Learn from this dirt bags !! : ) Know who you are but have never looked into you or watched any of your material, keep up the prof work all the best in 16

Hey Tim thanks for the great recap! You mentioned losing on that RWLK gap down short which I did too. I'd love to get your take on this but I feel like these gap downs are getting really hard to short and I'm trying to find rules to differentiate them. Even when a stock gaps up premarket but doesn't get that strong open push like CNIT on 23rd seems to trap very easily. Even on LEI today I shorted early thinking that 6.6 might top which didn't happen had to stop and as is lately the case just made most of my money back when it setup later on. I'm just finding it hard to get specifics on how to eliminate this problem. As an example stayed away from UNIS today as no opening push but missed a great fade. Just wanted to know had you any thoughts on this. Lastly I'd love to get your thoughts on evening shorts. I feel like the only ones that make good shorts now are huge squeezers on day 1 like INVT, BPMX and LEI. Just legitimate stocks for example like SUNE today which I shorted at 5.80 really seem to stick around and not give that fade you might expect in the morning and I'm again trying to find specifics to eliminate this aspect. Sorry for the long length and thanks for the great content.

+Daniel Waters as far as the gap down issue is concerned, i find that it's best to wait for a spike towards r/g area. sometimes you won't get that and miss, but better to miss than risk getting trapped. usually that r/g area rejects at least once though, so you get a pull to take some gains and then give the rest a chance to work. as for evening shorts, can't say i do a ton of those these days. GSI an example today of one that i did, where it's clearly backside of the move and I'm just shorting into pops and covering pulls and then doing it all over again. UNIS gapped up big and it was day 1, i think you were right not to be too aggressive although once it slammed hard you could have considered shorting rebounds with hod risk or something. that's what i did but got crappy partial fills. hope this helps

Tim Grittani Hey Tim thanks for the response. I definitely think you're right on waiting for some sort of spike. Appreciate the advice. Daniel.

Hey Tim, do you know how to scan for premarket movers?
@kroyrunner89
@kroyrunner89 9 жыл бұрын
+Fastdounut TV yes, you need to set a % gain parameter (i use >10%) and then some sort of volume requirement, i personally use >20k shares traded

+canyiah well you certainly don't have to catch dead top, actually might be safer after it's faded some and you can try short with HOD as set risk or something
