I don't tend to read a lot of unlikeable female characters in romance either so that is surprising D: I'm glad the eyes are the best part surprised you in a positive way. I have that waiting for me on my shelf and so I am glad to hear its a good one :) I do like the horror genre as well. I have seen so many people reading the amazon original series of christmas books. I dnfed a christmas tessa bailey book in december because I didn't like the language that was used either and it made me quite uncomfortable on the writing level. So I think that's me and tessa bailey done for now... Oh that's a different take on the christmas tree farm than I have heard so far. Sorry you didn't like it. The most wonderful crime of the year sounds fun and i added it to my tbr list for me to take note of next december! You read so much!!
