Abdul Basit Pakistan had gone against India in two phases. Firstly to object construction itself of dam. That decision is still awaited. Pakistan had gone for second phase of objections, which asked for inclusion of legal experts alongwith technical experts to decide over the original issue. In this second phase, Pakistan's contention has been rejected and it has been decided that there will not be inclusion of legal experts and only technical experts will take final decision. It is a clear cut win over of India as far as interpretation of Indus Water Treaty is concerned and India has every reason to rejoice to prove its point right. Let us wait for further decision over original issue.
