This is the first video I watched in this channel and I have to say I was surprised with how deep and fast I understood how overfitting works. Thank you so much, subscribed and definatelly going to watch your other videos. Keep it up!

Thanks for posting this amazing lecture! One question - Can you explain in detail what do you mean when you say 'remove the node that gives you the greatest improvement' - in the context of pruning? Thanks in advance.

Can you give an example of how overfitting occurs on the test data ? How does pruning the tree help us if we have never seen the data ( We wouldn't find it anywhere in our tree) ?
