Good morning from AL. Today we have my husband’s funeral. He has been a good man, my best friend, a good daddy and a good example to our 2 grown sons about providing for their families, about being faithful to the house of God. He built our homestead after retiring. He was a simple man, he requested to be buried in a pine box, and transported to our cemetery plots in GA in the back of his old 91, rusty Dodge Diesel and low and behold, Lord willing, we are going to get to do it with our 2 sons driving him 62 miles an hour down I-20 in GA. Pray that I always honor God and my husband.

I always felt like society took a nose dive in the 50's and we're still headed down. My mom was an enabler for my sister but not for me, I was too stuborn and independant. I left home at 16. Pretty much all my kids have come home for short periods of time but I didn't make it easy for them. Now that I'm old my children have helped me and I still help them when needed. My family is very independant minded and would rather do without than ask for help but we all know in a pinch someone will be there.

Mr Danny this is not too hard. Yes I want to hear well done good and faithful servant too. My daughter home schooled her 6 children. They are Christian started college at 16 and are very good workers. I've been through some really hard times, but God was with me all of the time carrying me through it. I'm very curious about the plans to mold us so we could be manipulated today. I think the worst and best thing that happen to me was television. One of the worst things that happened we stopped visiting with our neighbors and building our communities. I remember when they started putting new math in our schools. I'm 72 and I've seen lots of changes. I wore my friends out talking about the things that were happening. Still today people, friends and relatives are seeing what I've been talking about. It's almost too late for those who wouldn't pay attention and now it's hard to know who to help. For me I have to keep telling myself God's in control and He has a good plan for me and to keep my eyes on my creator.

I agree with most of what you’ve said. Usually I’m on board with all. The times we’re living in are requiring some multi generational households sometimes. Buying a home is not possible for some. That dream has died. We need to pull together, put aside differences, set biblical rules for living and get through these times to the end in some cases. Hard choices face many these days and it’s not going to get any better. Just my thoughts. God first, family then all else. Yes we have been conditioned. We have been conditioned to walk away from God first and embrace the world. God and family are what we have. That may be blood family or not but we either unite together or fall divided. Wise words you speak Danny. God bless you and Wanda in these times we’re in. Glad you’re housecleaning. LaVonne

You’re spot on Mr Danny. Our school system was always designed in this manner. I discovered this right before my boys were born. The other thing that occurred to me was that in school, the children are being raised by each other more so than the adults. Since our youngest had a speech issue, we utilized the resources offered by the school and after about 5 and 8 years of homeschooling, ours went to public school. In a town of 800 people, school was not as far off the rails. They have both done pretty well. The thing that continues to shock me is the things that their friends believe or just don’t know at all. It is obvious when observing the current 20 somethings that many parents spent more time rewarding themselves than parenting. I blame the parents AND the young people. When you become an adult you have the choice to change your thinking, UN-indoctrinate yourself and make better decisions. Seems many use their parents as an excuse for their behavior. Recognizing a problem and making an excuse rather than looking for a solution seems lazy and weak. My boys still live on the property but not in the e same house. They pay rent and help on the farm. It’s worked out well. I’d love to say that I planned for all of this to work out. Looking back, it is clear that the Lord led us to the place we are now, tho we had no clue at the time. Thanks for sharing. I thought the video was well presented and not the least bit offensive. I do so appreciate all the work that y’all put in to share these videos with everyone. What a great talk Danny is giving us in this Porch Time. I find myself agreeing with everything he has said. At one point Danny was discussing on subjects concerning our children, it brought to my mind how when our son, who is now 44 years old, married with 2 children, was a 16 or 17 years old finding a used car that he wanted. It didn’t cost a lot of money at all, but oh did he want that car! My husband and I could’ve paid cash for that car (and it was tempting to get it for him) but as he was just starting his summertime job, pitching cantaloupes and watermelons for a local farmer, we told our son that he would have to pay us so much a week until he had paid us back. He only thought about our proposition a couple of minutes then he agreed to that. And by the end of that job, he had paid us all the money he owed us. I have to admit, that it was hard not to just tell him, “That’s ok son, you don’t owe us anything, we will get you that car”. But of course we wanted him to learn a life lesson of, You have to work in life in order to get what you want. Starting when he was about 19 years old (when he moved to another state for high s job) all through the years to now present day, he has never asked us for any money. We have told him a few times over those years, that if he, or his wife and children, needed us to help out in any way, to let us know. But he never has. We are so proud of him in a lot of different ways, but I guess the main way is how he has worked hard and has taken responsibility as a husband and Dad so well. Well, I didn’t mean to write such a long comment here. I thank Mr Danny and Ms Wanda for allowing us to somehow feel a part of their lives. May our Lord God bring them much needed rain, if it be His Will. Amen. Much love for both of you, from my tiny part of the world, Southeast Missouri.

My neighbors think I need to get out more in retirement… I’m working harder now and talk to the Father throughout the day! They don’t want to hear about God.. it is very sad! I hope my one son comes back to God and the other 2 are lukewarm. I pray on their behalf every day. Good message. I was talking about the mistakes I made in my life today with my son so that he can make better decisions. One more item, many people particularly males have some sort of Autism that limits what they can do. Please don't judge them by a 'normal' standard. Oh one more thing, I do not believe the school system prepares children for life. Parents can do that, many do not. My son found much help with that with Boy Scouts, before they got in trouble. In this day and age I do not think that children are ready to be on their own at 18, I think they need guidance for a few more years. My father's generation, born in 1928, went into the military to get the GI bill to go to college after the service. I think our society has stopped bei putting much importance on family. And I think we need to get back to that, to putting family first after God.

Thank you Mr. Danny. The truth spoke today is so refreshing to hear. I have to interact with some of these children who i have dubbed the entitlement generation every day and unfortunately some of our family falls into this as well. Moved out, lived where many would not want to working 2 or 3 jobs to get by and never got myself into debt. I may not have been able to afford heat in the winter or AC in the summer but the bills were paid and at the same time paid my way thru school with zero debt. Worked my way up thru the years and do ok for myself now. The issue is that this generation believes that there is no working you way up the ladder anymore and have no idea what sacrifice is. When you tell them about what you did they can't even comprehend the fact of living in an 1 room apartment with no heat in the winter because you spent your money to pay your bills they just ask why didn't you put it on a credit card. Just shake my head. I have to thank my Father and Mother for always instilling in me respect, and my self sufficiency. We did without a lot as a child but we always learned how to survive. Thank you for speaking the truth, pray we all down south here hopefully have some rain, and have a blessed day.

My kids are of similar age to yours and I have some teens as well. Socializing opportunities can be hard to find sometimes but here is how we do it: We got involved with homeschool co-ops (find them through churches and Facebook/email district groups) , we joined a karate studio that allows the whole family to workout after we pay for 2, my older kids are working jobs right along side the public school kids, my younger kids play with the”potty-mouthed” neighborhood kids and they are welcome at my home as long as they can behave themselves..we verbally correct their behavior if they don’t... We talk about the things those kids are being taught in school with our kids so they know what type of mindset those kids are being taught to have, I tell my kids our perspective on those things from a Biblical worldview. Our kids will need to be able to navigate this world and be able to keep their biblical worldview. There are a bunch of great Christian apologetics channels out there…red pen logic, Alissa Childers, Living waters/ ray comfort…answering my children’s questions and talking with them about worldview has been good for me as well. It’s better that our children are exposed to the world under our supervision and guidance than letting them loose as untethered young adults with minds that have not ever come across these ideas and the people who follow secularism. I am of the opinion that they should be exposed to it and learn to function in it and interact with all sorts of people, but do it with your guidance. This will help them be able to develop critical thinking and discernment.

I'm 60 now and my kids in their 30s. I did not homeschool and I have no regrets. My kids learned to be around others, learned teamwork and how to get along with difficult people. Socialization is important just as much as the curriculum. I'm not an advocate of all homeschooled kids. I believe if we coddle them so much growing up and then suddenly put them out into the world, they will have more trouble. They will not know that others can have different beliefs than they do nor have the opportunity to stand up to their beliefs if sheltered. My parents were of the generation that at 18, it was time to move out. I know it's hard for them but at least after college these kids need to be on their own.

I totally agree Danny. I see some things my grandsons are exposed to and it saddens me. I pray daily for them and my children.

Mr. Danny, I know you were telling the truth when you said this message was hard for you present. Because you care about people and don't wish to offend. But you delivered it in a very kind and caring manner, as you always do. Thank you for opening our eyes to how evil our leaders have been and certainly continue to be. I had never considered how some of the things that seem so normal could be so bad for us. I know we as a nation have become a soft people, making us a soft target. But this helps me see how it was encouraged and brought about. Considering the direction things are going in this world, i would love to hear you speak about gog and magog. I dont know if you could without getting in trouble. The last thing i would want is for your channel to be pulled. The information you put out is too important to us, your viewers. I just feel people need to be aware of that part of the Bible in considering the ways we need to be preparing. Thanks for all you do. Many blessings to you and Ms. Wanda.

Does the word say take care of your parents in their old age? My mom took care of my grandpa as he lived with us. In Africa the people take in parents till passing.... There was no nursing home

Finally, yes thank you for acknowledging the home school problems. I have my son in a private Christian school and I'm convinced he's better off. I went to a Bible college and saw first hand how so many of the kids who were home schooled just seemed to be socially lost. I was stunned by how they were so unaware of common things, even like shaving your legs, eating out, listening to music like at all, and drinking coffee. It was terrible. No way.

Thank you for another great teaching! I recognized many of the Verses you quoted…they are from the book of Proverbs. Isn’t it wonderful that God gave us 31 chapters in that book….a chapter a day may just keep the devil away 😊I have found it to be most helpful in this battle with the unseen forces of evil that we battle daily. We also wear our armor that Paul told us to wear in Ephesians 11. Thanks again, Danny!

Thank you for this talk. It was very beneficial to me. My sister and I have been struggling how to deal with my father after our Mom passed away several years ago. He has made bad decisions and moved to a location that is far from us so it makes it difficult to help him. My brother bought him a home near my sister before my brother passed away and my father is refusing to move to this home which is right next to my sisters. We have told him that we can’t help him where he is currently but he expects us to drop everything and drive for several hours to him. We struggle with the honoring our father part of the scripture because we can only help so much from that distance. It is a frustrating situation. Thanks Danny.

Great message today and full of wisdom as always. Sometimes the truth is hard to hear but it does not mean it shouldnt be shared. I wish we all wanted to live in the truth but unfortunately some people like the lies.

Im close to your age. Saw my worst draught on 2012 here in the midwest. No rain all spring or summer. When white tail deer are floating dead in the lakes from blue tongue and coyote refused to eat them. In 2008 we had the worst flooding here in history. Fema, Army Corp Engineers, Emergency Mangmnt. Teams, Worst winter storm came as the Blizzard of 1978.

You are right Danny I am seeing this on KZbin channels also people get on these things and when people start watching them and subscribe and like them then they start asking for donations because they have no jobs outside of KZbin but they have a newer car and a side by side that cost over 20,000 dollars and a RV while they are asking for donations. While they go fishing and hunting and exploring in their state . Even going camping while they're talking the money that people donate to pay for all of these things even make their rent or house payments .

What's the name of the declassified document name and how do we access it? The remarks about the parents kinda helped me. Narcissists parents. I was sheltered from parties of other kids. I was constantly scorned about doing anything. So I didn't do anything. Only thing I was allowed to do to help the family was to mow the lawn. A senior in high school and mom still looked out the window when I mowed. Probably even after graduation. Tried to help & got verbal abuse until I cried. Extended family thought I was spoiled. I just wasn't allowed.

You're just speaking truth Danny. I'm not offended and no one else should be either. We've all known there is something terribly wrong with our society. We may not been able to put our finger on what that was. Isn't it disgraceful that our own "powers that be" are responsible? I'm with you, walk with and obey the Lord. Teach the young ones and my goodness it's passed time that we resist and push back on the nonsense being pushed on our society. Many blessings to all.

Good morning Mr Danny and Mrs Wanda😊 we have plowed up our new Garden Spot we've put our bone and blood meal in it and tilt it up again and now it's all covered up ready for the spring! Thank you so much for all of your tips that you have given us over the years I have been paying attention and our household is ready thank you so much we love watching you all! We are always there on Saturday night's🎉 my mother was in the Christian Coalition and she advised me in many areas my son was taken out of public school and put into private school then he had disciplinary problems I couldn't handle him my dad couldn't handle him so he went to live with his other grandma in the country promising he would go to school; he didn't go to school for his grandma either so she homeschooled him however she did all the work for him . The Lord has blessed my son with a job at UPS as a over-the-road truck driver and he was very fortunate to have gotten that job with his schooling that he had I have 7 years difference in my children so my daughter when she came along I tried to put her in private school and her father fought me in court in the court ruled in his favor that she could go to a public school so I made sure she went to good if you could say that public schools because her father my ex-husband worked for the county and we were able to take our daughter to any school we liked without being in that certain area . I have seen friends have homeschooled their children and those children are now Satan followers . Not all homeschooled children are Christians I can say that with 100% accuracy thank you so much for your Insight Mr Danny we are always paying attention God bless you and your sweet family❤

Danny this was a great porch time as always. I too am cleaning my home of things I never knew were bad. I am so happy my son was brought up the same way I was, no internet, no cell phones & when he wasn't in school we were out in nature & loving every minute of it. He just turned 48 this summer & turned out just fine. Love you & Wanda, praying we both get rain soon. Saw a little tree frog next to my back light last night trying to get some moths. His body looked so dried out I ran in & got a cup of water & threw it all over my siding, he just kept licking it up for a good 5 minutes. Making sure I keep water in all my bird baths too.
