that running creek might allow you to build a RAMP PUMP which requires no electricity and can pump water uphill to storage tanks, that can then allow you to water whatever downhill with gravity. Not in winter because of freezing where you are, but when temps are over 35° you can have free water. Find the video from Nomadic Movement in Panama. They move water up 350 ft and quite a run distance-wise.
