You slightly hit one of the major talking points I've seen many Branded players miss entirely, which is just because a card has Branded in its name and a decent effect it doesn't mean you should try to fit it in your deck. Branded spells/traps support a wide variety of strategies within the Abyss lore achetypes, and knowing when to say no to a card is so important for this deck.

Great vid. For my branded deck I run one the bystial aluber for it named being treated as a fallen of albaz, the tuner to summon Lilith, dis pater, or any lv 10 synchro plays and for it's dark attribute for quintarias, proskien and masquerade.but love your build

There has been a debate in ways of building branded. There are two main versions: ones that main crossout and maybe even aqua dolphin to counter ash and ones that have options after the ash resolves. Versions that play after ash tend to end on weaker boards, but seem rather consistent, while crossout versions end on much stronger boards but tend to brick.

I’d rather go for the try and play through Ash strat. Look all the cards you don’t want to see when facing Kash or going second period that are in this deck just to beat ash. Not worth it when a Gran and BiR/Expulsion end board can cause a lot of decks trouble by itself.

@@ducky36F Yeah honestly I've been trying out Nadir Servant post cyac to see if I can use it to play through ash sending Lulu to search Quem, and it's honestly been working pretty well for me so far. Even through ash getting Mirrorjade on the board can be pretty strong.

Ogree and Kaijus are my go to because that new synchro Chaos Angel ist just busted, more Towers will be played

Kaiju's are a must for non destruction removal, most decks should probably have at least 2 of them. I have 2 Kaiju Radians in my Branded Despia deck.

I have been testing running 2 Cartesia for the Kashtira matchup where having your only Cartesia end up banished due to Diabolosis feels very bad for your combo line. Other than that, I cannot see much reason to run more than one besides the occasional called by sack taking it away from you when you need it.

I mean I run 2 cartesia because I just want to see it all the time so having 5 total copies is a nice number.

I run 3 Cartesia, its fusion summon quick effect is very useful and its recovery effect makes a good discard card for cost as well as a good recovery card if your opponent is able to pop one or more of your fusion monsters and is a good extender if you send one of your own fusions to the graveyard.

I love Branded but I really want Expulsion to get banned, it’s such an unfair card and takes up two slots in the deck and makes it unfair.

Expulsion isn't unfair, gimmick and other cards are the problem. Explusion has many applications outside of the locks.

@@MrBiosh0ck nah its Expulsion being unfair, there are too many cards which are only good because you can put them on opp's field. Summoning whatever card on opps field is a busted mechanic

@MrBiosh0ck gotta disagree. The other cards are problems only because of expulsion. Hit the enabler, not the things around it.

@@warriorofgod2700 no one uses those other cards seriously, why hit a viable card rather than trash that no one needs. Also I'll just go ahead and say it, summoning to your opponents field is not new or op, and soon we will be looking back on it just like we look back at all old formats. Cards will only get more powerfull as konami prints more sets.

Would you like to do a top 5/10 of branded stuff that u hate or u consider annoying? I think it could be a great idea to highlight branded problems in a cool way. For example i particulary hate the fact that lubellion has to discard a card to activate and doing this on turn 1 where u have only 5 cards is annoying. Hope u consider the idea

Number 1- you are so reliant on brafus that you are basically forced to run some form of anti-ash tech just to be able to compete in a lot of scenarios.

I just dislike how little non engine branded has, this list looks like if you lose the dice roll you scoop. SuperHeavy Sam is just going to put up 4 Omni negates with hand traps and Purrely is going to draw a bunch and put 3 of your cards on the bottom of the deck

The white dragon is ass. Replace it with chaos angel. It's better and definitely recommend playing the new continues trap. It's pretty good

how can you make double Mirrorjade? Mirrorjade states you can only control 1

He was probably referring to the combo line where you use the mirrorjade effect, then remove it from the field with BiR, and return it to the field using ad libitium so you can use mirrorjade a second time
