The Adamancipator player should've crashed with Gigantes before activating Researcher. The main thing you have to fear from Marincess is their backrow, and without Battle Ocean their girls aren't that big.

In the anime, the user of Marincess is known as the character we're supposed to care about but only won against an enemy ONCE. Additionally, she changed her slightly cool-looking avatar for a less appealing tone of blue hair and it just... Yeah. I'll give it to them, though that the decks she's played, Trickstars and Marincess are pretty good, like every single deck someone has played (Save Dinowrestler and the decks that don't exist in TCG)

Great profile but I don't understand why a lot of people don't run one for one. That is an absolute staple imo simply because it's a 1 card (granted you have a discard target and don't get interrupted) link 4 that's unaffected by everything..

I always find it a bit uncomfortable with how marincess almost fill up the back row but at least it's just 3 cards if you don't go overboard leaving some room for negates or battle traps.

That weakness is somewhat mitigated by one of the traps being a handtrap. Along with the fact that the deck itself is running 9 other handtraps.

@@henktrouw4437 the trap I want is If you control a marincess link monster negate a trap If it's a link 2 negate a spell If it's a link 3 negate a summon If it's a link 4 you can activate from hand As for a spell, a search would be nice but that just feels so easy...and we have cynet mining A draw spell would definitely be nice. Maybe a continuous spell that equips monsters from the grave once per turn and can send 2 equips to draw 2. Each effect once per turn. I wouldn't even mind if the negate trap had to send an equiped marincess as cost Or maybe special summon it and re equip at the end of the turn Edit: I really like the equip mechanic and I want to see more with it. I think it's really unique and has a lot of potential

I feel like marincess is the exact opposite of salamangreat. Salamangreat was trash with the first wave and has been top meta for a while now and people seemed to have high expectations of marincess in the beginning but now it's completely irrelevant

In the anime, Salamangreat appeared at the beginning of season 2 and its user had a lot of duels, so it received many support cards as the show progressed. Marincess, on the other hand, appeared in the second half of season 2, so its first cards had to be somewhat strong so that it could keep up with other decks. After that, because its user was sexually discriminated, she didn’t really have any other duels and if she did, she had to lose, so this archetype didn’t really receive any good new support.

-They’re making a joke about female characters in Yugioh always losing. Which was especially prevalent in VRAINS because of the fact that Playmaker had to be undefeated so they constantly “killed” the other main characters so Playmaker could save the day. So on top of already constantly losing because she was a female character, she lost even more because they always used Playmaker as the hero saving the day.- Edit: Yikes, they’re actually serious about it being discriminatory and being “the embodiment of sexism” lol. To the point of accusing me of being sexist just because I described it as a joke. Just ignore this person, it’s not worth it. Trying to argue with them just fuels them further lol

I used to think that it was exaggerating to call this problem sexism. However, after I know that even the staff of VRAINS thought that Robbopi was a girl, there is no doubt that it is indeed sexism. Robbopi managed to defeat Blood Shepherd and Ghost Girl alone, and then theoretically defeated Soulburner and it turned out that Robbopi was a boy. He was able to do such things because he was male, not female like people always thought. Isn't that reasonable enough to conclude that VRAINS is an embodiment of sexism?

Andy4995 I apologize to you too and anyone who has read my previous comment. However, I believe that just because something is not real doesn't mean we shouldn't take it seriously. That is the reason why in pretty much all types of media, people are very strict about picking actors, checking the content, and many other things in order to avoid controversial stuffs like racism and sexism. The live action Mulan for example. But again, I understand that no matter what, I must keep a cool head, so I am sorry for using such language.
