It was great fun to see things falling from rooftops. Other than that: this is beautiful. Very scandi. It's the project that keeps on giving. The only downside: now I want my own cabin by a lake. And we don't have any. Lakes. Not cabins.

I've been researching building my own house using similar methods and this video was super helpful. Only thing I saw in this build that could be an issue is the metal flashing under the deck. While it looks great, it appears that it could end up holding water that drips through the deck.
