WAAAAAAAAAAAAIT! Phantom Knights can now be made into a pure deck? It's no longer just an engine? THANK YOU YUGIOH! I have been waiting for years for the day this deck can become a pure deck. No I don't care if it's not any better then rogue, this archetype has been my favourite for years. They get the treatment they deserve and i'm so much happier for it. Now do this treatment to other archetypes that deserve it.

tbh if bardiche ever goes to even 1, phantom knights will absolutely be a tier ranking deck without having BA stuff in it anyway. theyre consistency, swarming, and grind game with searchable negates and interruptions would put it on par with salamangreat, if not better. The new support pushes it towards rogue potential for sure, but bardiche would raise the ceiling even higher if it ever came back to 1.

I don't think it will be better than sala, we can banish from gy to do stuff, but sala can add back. After 3 fog balde and the counter we can't do anything to negate, and the breaks sword ends too. Is better to try to end the game as fast as possible, or you'll end resources. Anyway new support gave us a OTK machine, making things easier

As a pk player, i do agree with this new support can push pk into rogue deck, but bardiche wont do that much on turn 1, they aready have searchable monster negation, but dark ruler no more and lightning storm is a thing. And their boss monster ironically only have a monster negation. But yeah, why not unban bardiche. Orcust in ocg no longer goes for bardiche since dragun came out

The problem with that is that literally any dark deck would start to use it again as an engine to get the 2 negations or the quick launch into Kali Yuga/Calamities shit. The worst part is that no matter how many stupid restrictions they add to it, they can't do nothing to that second part short of banning Quick Launch and errata'ing Bardiche so you can only summon Phantom Knight monsters during the turn you use its effects.

@@AyuNico Errataing bardiche to be made of PK materials should fix it. Running that many PK cards for bardiche wouldn't make them an engine, it instead be considered to be mixed with whatever deck they're supporting, so no, it can be fixed. And even then 2 negations isn't something to sweat over. Calamities/Kali Yuga turbo? So what? You think that is enough to net easy wins or be meta relevant? Numerons are downright braindead. If you know what I'm talking about you should immediately understand. Why people are so scared of PKs I'll never understand. It's rocks and utopiczexal.dek you should be raising eyebrows at. Unban bardiche.

It's the new Borrelsword Dragon! I remember when that card first came out, it was hard to find a duel where it didn't end due to Borrelsword's double-attack & attack-increase effect. People would complain in the comments section saying those deck duels were just a Borrelsword.dek but with different archetypes serving as the engine lol And they were kinda right.
