What helps a little to get chickens to lay eggs in the winter is to make sure there is enough light. That the chickens feel or there is 12 hours of light in a day So in short you have to put the lights on the chickens. Make sure you have a timer on your light in the winter that goes on automatically

Regarding your chickens. We had the same issue, but boardet up the windows and added artificial light on timer. We keep light on for about 14h and they started laying eggs again. I think they lay fewer during winter. Other than that, your comedy level is on top this video! Love it! God Jul 🎅

Egg laying tends to taper off around the shortest sunlight of the year. Your English is much better than my Norwegian. My Dad could speak Norwegian. I only recognize a few words. Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the tip. I also thing several of the chickens are getting too old by now. We have also tried many different breads and some have been bad egg layers but other have been excellent. The best we have had was ISA brown but it has not been easy to find fertilized eggs. Have a merry Christmas to you and yours.

Saab Blir ikkje fyrvaerk heller uti oeygapet...hvis eg leser nyhetene. Helt rart er det her kor eg bor i Belgia er fantastisk stille med fyrverk. Med to gamle skremte tanter av katter blir man jo mer vaar ettersom de blir saa redde saa man foelger med ... mer enn tidligere. Godt Nyttaar til dere alle!

Looks like a clogged drainage ditch at 28:55 that means the ditch is working to that point,I would put a stake in the hole to mark it to whenever you hav the time to dig down there to see what's hiding in the ground.
