This is an example of great pacing in film. Tim knew exactly when to make this reveal and it paid off. He let us trust Lanoi and then made our world's spin. I see a best original screenplay award at Oscar in the mix here too.

Everyone with half a brain would know it would be Lanoi. Because Adult Swim is taking a huge dump with this series on typical american movies.

Red Polscorp What? Taking a dump? This is a tribute to classic cinema, if anything. It's really more of a new beginning for film. You'll see that others in the movie world have already begun taking inspiration from Decker if you'd just pay attention for half a second.

The one thing I counted on _more than anything_ was that Lanoi Arnold was Decker's oldest and _most trusted_ friend. They even said it _three_ times in the "Previously on Decker" segment. And he betrayed Decker just to swag up his bar?! I just don't know what to believe anymore; it's like I've been gut punched in the stomach.. Next you'll be telling me it's not 0500 in Hawaii right now.

I think the waterboard scene has genuinely clinched the oscar win for Jack Decker. I got shivers down my spine hearing Decker say "its about to get wet and wild" wow, such an act of patriotism for the country he loves. You ignorant fools. Why would you believe what came from that Tallyman's mouth? Lanoi Arnold was a serviceman for this country and the only man decker can trust on the Island. Decker said so himself. Is he wrong? Is he lying? Don't make laugh cause I don't want to right now. Respect your veterans you left-wing liberal propagandists. The real villain in this story is Kringklon who uses Japanese technology to break codes and spends taxpayer's money spending the day in an air conditioned movie theater all day. That waterboarding scene is going to be talked about for ages to come. Decker's face says it all when he uses his skills to interrogate the soldier and he knows he will get answers. The twist shocked me to the core, I was not expecting this to take me to a new level of immersion. I started crying at the thought of their friendship and what they just lost. This will sweep the Oscars and will take home everything.
