As a paleontologist, I feel I need to clarify the "gojirasaurus". It is now considered a nomen dubium, meaning it's no longer considered valid, due to it likely being a chimera (a specimen made up of bones from different species)

@@NinjaLawyerSteve I mean I'm not blaming anybody. Paleontology is fickle in a sense that something that is widely accepted today can be disproven later with different discoveries. We can never be one hundred percent right with them, just get as close as we can. Spinosaurus is a great example of this.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 🦖 "Triassic *World" is an Asylum mockbuster released in 2018, capitalizing on the Jurassic Park franchise's popularity but with a low-budget approach.* 🏢 The *movie primarily unfolds within the confines of a facility named Triassic, run by Dr. Marisa Martinelli, where dinosaurs are brought back for medical experiments, including organ transplants.* 🧬 The *scientists, Charles and Eva, grow dinosaurs, particularly the Gojirasaurus, for potential organ transplants in humans, aiming to utilize their strong immune systems.* 🚨 The *plot revolves around a dinosaur on the loose within the facility, triggering a lockdown. A Code Four is introduced, threatening everyone with halon gas if the dinosaur isn't captured or killed within two hours.* 🔫 The *characters, armed with tranquilizer guns, embark on a mission to capture the dinosaur, facing challenges and infighting among themselves.* 🌐 The *film attempts to blend horror and science fiction elements, with an unexpected twist involving a dino zombie virus antidote that comes into play later in the story.* 🩸 Impressive *gore effects are highlighted, showcasing gruesome scenes, but the overall quality is noted as typical for an Asylum production.* 🎬 The *video concludes with escalating chaos as the body count rises, and additional dinosaurs unexpectedly break free, setting the stage for the next acts in the film.* 🔄 Characters *teleport randomly, highlighting inconsistencies in the movie's narrative and spatial logic.* 💀 Multiple *deaths occur, including Steve, as the characters navigate the facility to confront escaped dinosaurs.* 🚪 Marisa *reveals her sinister intentions, locking Diana in a containment area with an attacking dinosaur.* 🔒 Tracking *chips on dinosaurs, meant to explode, turn out to be ineffective, rendering certain plot elements useless.* 💉 Diana *transforms into a dino zombie, but Bridget successfully administers a cure, averting a potential crisis.* 🦖 The *movie concludes with Bridget, Tom, and Diana facing dinosaurs in hand-to-hand combat as they try to survive.* 🎬 The *asylum film exhibits shortcomings in plot coherence, character development, and CGI quality, though gore effects receive praise.* ⭐ Despite *its flaws, the movie might appeal to fans of cheap dino flicks with a decent body count, earning a rating of two out of five.* Made with HARPA AI

Wait, was the gas going to be pumped into the safe rooms too? Why would you design a safe room that doesn't account for your own other fail safes? As an aside, I actually wouldn't be surprised if dinos shared some amount of dna sequencing with humans from a common ancestor (or even just random similar mutations). Having absolutely none would be weirder, imo. Incidentally, the Triassic period is actually when mammals started evolving from reptiles.
