Edit/Update: Janet Chui's Self-Love Oracle is $37 including shipping to the US, but will be out on Amazon in May 2021 for $20. Janet's website includes links for a Google Play and Apple app, I decided to give the app a try. You get a sample of cards for free, or unlock the deck for $7. Wonderful! The simple app interface lets you browse the deck/card meanings, or do a 1, 3 or 5 card reading. The cards are full screen and gorgeous. I did a 3 card reading, the card positions were Challenge, Advice, Outcome, the messages were spot on. The app lets you save the reading to a journal and include a message to yourself, and email the reading to someone (yourself, whoever). The email includes the subject of your journal entry, large images of each card, the spread position, and the card description. That is incredibly generous; card apps most often send very low res thumbnails. --- I've had the Happy tarot on my wish list for so long... Maybe something (higher power, etc) is trying to get your attention when you keep saying "we talk about" because to me, guiding groups through the Self Worth Path would make an excellent Teachable course (or Udemy, etc). And then it really would be "we talk about".

Hi Lisa, i never knew you had Christian heritage in your history. I am really torn between 2 ideas now: 1) totally getting that paying attention to oneself is essential, in whatever way suits us, and i laud you for bringing it and 2) you do realise that you don't need anything at all really? All that stuff saying you're not awesome and powerful is just in your head (probably generations worth of dissatisfied grandmas talking, bringing that gnarly to our doorsteps...) and so, being slightly critical/self-reflective is cool, because you wouldn't have made it through if you couldn't deal... There's so much hidden loyalty to mother's talk inside us... Even against our own expansion. So there. PS🦄🐉.

You are so right!! :) None of this is 'needed', but I'm definitely a big fan of surrounding myself with tools and techniques that support my practice toward more self-compassion. Oh trust me, I know exactly whose voices are behind my Inner Critics.... the way you worded it is so powerful "loyalty to mother's talk", oof. Big feels there. That Postscript is perfection :D

Your book has become an invaluable part of my tool kit ❤️ Liminal 11 do some lovely little books for self care, I have been eyeing up the mini meditations on friendships and also the Do Yoga Anywhere cards. So thank you for giving us a little collection of decks and books around one specific topic. I love videos like this because how often do we try to find a deck that would really work for a topic or has a specific energy. So the two decks that came to my mind for this are the Whispering Spirits Tarot by Joanna Nelson. For me that deck is like what the Monstarot is for you. But in general I feel like Joanna Nelsons artwork has an energy to it that really works well for self care work. Another deck that is one of my favourite oracle deck is the Naked Truth Oracle by handmethatpencil. If you can deal with nudity in a non sexual way this is a really good one for body acceptance but also for self care. It's diverse (in terms of skincolor, body types and it has 3 beloved cards to also represent same sex couples) and also quite balanced in light and challenging aspects.

Oh yes!!! Whispering Spirits Tarot is another great one! I have it too, even if it does get a bit neglected in favour of Monstarot. LOL I am gonna go check out that Naked Truth Oracle - that sounds like it's right up my alley!!!

LOL omg the Nervous Seagull..... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Also, as for Monstarot - the first print... I hesitated too long and it went OOP. I only ended up with it through the incredible generosity of someone else who parted with their copy and sent it my way.... I don't think you'll regret that purchase!
