Oh wow. The lottery is such a creative idea and soooo generous of you. It’s so difficult when it comes to pricey indie decks to decide what to do when/if they don’t work out. I’ve definitely had the Mysteries of Mary and the Black Madonna decks on my wishlist. But I’m most excited for her new Red Maddona deck. I’ll check back in to see what you decide to do. I hope it easy and feels right for you. ❤😊

@@MarleneTheresa what is it about the Red Madonna you're most excited about? Genuinely curious! I decided not to run the lottery because apparently it's illegal (LOL). So oppsie! At least I realized it before starting. I'm just going to list each deck in my video descriptions & IG and see how they do.

I like the idea of the lottery and hope it works out. I think we all probably have decks we could lottery or exchange even. I have several decks that are chilling for further study but I wanted the version available at the time. Im with you on wanting to expand out into Thoth land but like Pixie - I respect her artwork and contribution to both art and the tarot - its not my “style” - I am not really drawn to LFH artwork either (unpopular opinion) but I love Marea! I received my copy recently and it has really sparked my excitement to explore more. Great video as always.

Thanks for stopping to leave a comment :) Yeah LFH's art is different and just feels over my head or maybe I just don't like it lol I'm hoping Marea will let me explore Thoth even if just to understand it better. I think RWS will always be my preferred system!

OOooo! What a great idea! I would definitely participate 😊 I do appreciate your honesty about the Mary deck; both decks from that creator are very hyped and well loved in the community; but sometimes something just doesnt resonate and thats okay! It can be hard to admit that to a crowd that reveres certain decks. Someday I will be jumping into astrology and tarot studies, and the heavenly bodies is my top choice for sure. For Scarab + Dahlia, I U also watched Lisa's review. I think she mentioned how she wished there were more scarabs throughout the deck since it was in the title, and that kind of put the purchase brakes on for me. Idk why but i was expecting scarabs to be a focal point and something to lean on in its perspective and it didnt seem to be that way, which deinfluenced me. I'm so happy to see you gush about the White Numen. Although its MM, I havent seen anyone feature it a lot since its initial release. Its underrated for sure. I hope youre able to further connect with it; its been such a great reader for me.

Ok, I have to figure out the logistics of receiving and returning (if necessary) money without being overly complicated because I'm allergic to things that are complicated! ;) For sure (about the Mary decks) - it's funny how we can be so attached to something it's hard to understand why it doesn't work for someone else. This sounds like a fun experiment - good luck with it! I love the Heavenly Bodies deck (I didn't know that about the creator and the shabby chic movement, very cool). My deck also has a serious bow. This is one of the decks I'm going to be featuring in an upcoming astrology-related video I'm planning on. I actually just uploaded a video where I share some brief thoughts about astrology as I talk about how I use one of my astrology decks. I have also had the Star Codes Astro Deck for a long while but find I don't use it much despite how pretty I think it is. Though I do keep two of its cards (my sun and moon signs) fairly permanently on my altar table. The Marea Tarot is so beautiful! I came across it some time ago and very much wanted to purchase it but its out of my budget, between the price of the deck and shipping. If you do ever decide to rehome it please do let me know! And with that I end this tome of a comment 😂

At the start of you flipping through Under the Oak I'm thinking, "yeah, just because it's beautiful doesn't mean I have to have it," and by the end of the flip through I'm in love! 😍 😂 That Strength card is special. If this came in a pocket-sized I would definitely carry this into the woods on a solo backpacking trip.... Great video!

I would LOVE the Cursed Augeries deck! I've been wanting to start a menstrual tarot practice, and I've always thought that deck might work well for that. Whether you do a lottery or selling individually, I'd be interested in the Cursed Augeries! 😍

I have also rehomed White Numen because I really wasn't using it much and didn't care for the cardstock. Also OMG didn't know you had the Mini Cat Tarot. I see almost nobody else with it!

Definitely the photography of the Mysteries of Mary and Black Madonna is not great, the creator has admitted as much. The Red Madonna is supposed to be of better image quality. I'm glad I waited for the Red Madonna. I have the first edition of Brady. I also had the second edition but I did not like the size or the black borders. I did back the third edition and I look forward to the changed card stock. Scarab and Dahlia is the collage deck I've been waiting for. I don't have Ritual, Telezma, Voyager or any of the other "cool" collage decks. I like the images of White Numen, but I just really dislike everything about Liminal 11 productions. Cursed Auguries is such a good spell deck, but if you don't use tarot that way I totally understand letting it go. I've decided I don't need to "know" Thoth to read Thoth decks. I don't do astrology or Kabbalah so I just read the cards how they speak to me.

The Northwest Animal deck you could use as an altar deck. Put a card up for each week or month. And if nothing else just enjoy the art.

I'm still considering the logistics of how I can accept and also return (if necessary) money but PayPal may be a good option. And I'm not sure it would be worth it for me to ship to Canada given the cost. I'll keep everyone updated and hope to have a solution sooner rather than later. :)

This is a fun idea! I loved that movie, so thanks for the tip that it was free on yt. I keep a movies playlist and just save them in there, because they go in and out on being available, so it's a nice one to put in there. I like your lottery idea. You have some beautiful decks.
