Couldn't agree more about the Vieira comparison, been saying it since Arteta started playing him further forward and he started doing those driving runs that were one of Vieira's many strengths, as well as all the attributes he already has. And I don't think it's a question of is he a six or an eight, I think Arteta sees him as a box to box player and hopefully he'll develop the role even more next season. Love him to bits.

He came with massive expectations and surpassed them. Today was merely a set back. If we can keep this momentum going into next season then cannot see any reason why we shouldn't be in contention for the title again. Arsenal and City both made each other better teams by competing so close. We beat city twice this season and took five points off them in the league which was unthinkable at the start of the season and we went and got a decent result in Anfield.
