8:59 Anna's dad speaks French because he's a chef who specializes in French cuisine 9:50 I don't know why they left it out, but in the manga when Ichikawa said "I'll make it quick," he was standing a little too close to the PA system mic, so _everyone_ heard him say that (and Anna was thrilled) 😂
