Your declutters inspired me to reorganize my makeup collection. I didn't really want to get rid of much, but I did want to go through everything and think about what I loved, what was new, what was just so so, etc. So I used your method of "what do I know I would buy again immediately" that you've used in previous declutters, and instead of organizing drawers based on keeping brands together, I made sections for each type of product for love, need to try more, and just okay. Now I never have to wonder if I liked a foundation (for example), and if I don't use products in my "just okay" sections I know I can get rid of them with no guilt. I just wanted to let you know that your declutters have influence even beyond decluttering!!!

Also, that question of "what would I buy again" is a game-changer. I generally like everything I have, and I purchased it for a reason, but I was often shocked at how little I'd buy again. It really provided so much clarity to the reorganization process. Now I feel like my collection is curated in how it's arranged.

Jessica you have inspired me to take a closer look at my collection and be better at making makeup purchases. I have narrowed down my foundations to 4 and decided I will ask for a sample first before buying, which means no more drugstore foundation because ALL of them are not my color (since it’s a guessing game) and I decluttered all of my lipsticks/glosses and now have 5 which I know I will wear. Love your makeup approach of only keeping what you love.

It doesn’t and it’s actually super gross. Now admittedly, you can sanitize some products and keep them for a LOT longer than you would think. Dry pencil liners, powders, what have you. But just looking st her amount ofneye primers! Primers go bad SOOOOOOOOOO FAST, and it’s not like you use multiple or reapply throughout the day. I don’t get it. I have a TON of makeup, and I still get anxiety 👀 at these chicks’ makeup collections.

Even if the palette I’m using has a neutral color to set the lid, Wet n Wild brulee is the only shadow I use to set my lid and blend out my brow bone. There’s nothing like it. I hope they never discontinue it!

I've been waiting for this episode of your declutter series and it did not disappoint! If I could provide one bit of feedback, is that I'd love to know the shade names of the items you keep at the end - like, I know you mentioned some of the shade names as you went through the process, but for example the Maybelline single shadows were unnamed. Going forward, I'd love to see you do a quick recap of all the items/shades you kept at the very end of the video (or you could provide it in the video description).
