I have had 16 tattoos, one has been covered up and I have another which I sort of regret more due to the placement of it. I love tattoos I think they are a work of art. My mum and dad hate my tattoos and tattoos in general 😂 I see the body as a blank canvas and it's up to the individual if they want to decorate their canvas or leave it blank. Either way it doesn't make you less of a minimalist if you have loads of tattoos imo 🙂

Thank you for sharing Lydia, your story actually made me cry. I have had two cats (one was my partners), then four dogs, now a house free roam rabbit. But although the former have now passed, for years I would get very upset if I was reminded of my first pet whom I had that special bond with, it was very hard to deal with.❤

Tattoos are a part of your body, like hair or fingernails or birthmarks …or even body fat. They are chosen, like keeping your hair long or short and so on. You carry them with you for life or until you laser them off or cut (hair & nails). It’s not an item that can be easily decluttered it’s often sentimental or meaningful…

Great video. You have very thoughtful, personal tattoos! I contemplated getting one during a big life transition, but ultimately, did not have something I wanted to have that I would relate to the way you do for your tattoos. It was only the action of getting it that was the inspiration. So I didn’t, and for me I’m glad I didn’t because, it wouldn’t have been so personal to me and also I travel to Japan a lot and they have strict rules around tattoos because of the tradition of only the Yakuza (organised crime) having them. Maybe one day I might change my mind.

I don't have tattoos but I appreciate those who do. I find them as another art form.❤ as long as adds value and it is done with intention I see no issue why it can't be considered minimalist.

I think tattoo rings are very minimalist and have a cool message rather than traditional wedding rings.

I understand now your love for Poodles 🥹🐩 I really like the meaning of your tattoos! I'm very impressed to have them on ankle& feet I think it hurt a lot in this place 🙈 it's a nice story and very personal so thank your for sharing it ✨ I have tattoos too. I think tattoos are more minimalist than jewelry 🤷🏻‍♀️ each person has her own conception of minimalism. Yes I remember youheum' tattoos!! Very thin lines!
