Excellent job, Tracy! Here's a tip...keep a jar of wooden toothpicks in your kitchen cabinet. They are so helpful for cleaning little corners and crevices on stovetops, windowsills, faucets, etc. So, maybe you can have clean kitchen on one week of the month, the 2nd week put bedroom, 3rd bathroom, 4th living room, outside. You get the idea. It really helps to revisit these areas once a month. You see things to declutter and things that might need to be cleaned that you didn't notice before. Even if you think something doesn't need to be wiped down, wipe it anyway....trust me, the cleaning just goes faster this way!

Very satisfying cleaning and de-cluttering video. You (and Tina) handled business. Today, I finally got off my duff and cleaned my bathroom (ok except for the shower LOL). It really needed it-the floor was awful. I also mopped the kitchen floor-it needed it LOL. I forced myself to vacuum and finish dusting too! Tiring but it feels so good. I know you feel much better too getting back on track. Looking forward to the next video.

I loved this video! And I learned a new word too, lol. I've always wondered what the glass shades were called! I'm going to look for any excuse to use "jalousies" in conversation this week. I thought you did a really nice job of getting to things before they got out of control. I still wonder in your bedroom if you could downsize on furniture...maybe 1 dresser instead of 2, or 1 nightstand instead of 2? I know you've talked about needing the second for the CPAP, but to my eye you could put it on one nightstand. I just find that less furniture = less places for "things" to pile up. Can't wait to see what you and Tina tackle next!

🤣 They are also called “louvers”. Re: Bedroom - I was just thinking that I might try moving the smaller side table into the corner by the couch & see how that goes. I don’t think it will gather clutter there because it will be out of the way but will be convenient if I’m sitting on the couch working on something. The dressers will stay but they are only 1/2 full. I need to organize at some point & see if I can utilize my spaces better.

Btw - can you tell us your favorite cleaning products? I’m gonna try the Pink Stuff and I saw you using the vinegar/baking soda/Dawn, but anything else? I go to Daiso to pick up rags & stuff, lol. Your windows look like my second floor windows here in Central O’ahu!

I like the Pink Stuff the most actually. I use Simple Green too because they have big jugs of it at Costco but I prefer the pink stuff spray. I can’t stand the Mrs. Meyer’s sprays. The smell is over powering & they leave a sticky residue. Scrub Daddy Power Paste is great for cleaning the bottom of pans & getting rust off of stuff. I have The Barkeeper’s Friend in the cabinet but haven’t tried it yet. Hope that helps!
