Yes you can recycle fabric by making stuff like pillows/bags/blankets and many more. You can just look up "What do with old fabric/scraps of fabric" and I'm sure you can find out what to do :)

This video reminds me I still need to do this to my bedroom (and eventually my entertainment/me space again) cause that room currently functions as a storage with my bed and access to my cloths. ...Yeah, I should do that this summer. Anyway, another thing I'm being reminded of is doing this to my closet that I haven't touch in...10? 12? 13 years? But now, my closet functions as a closet...and a bit of storage with the heavy blankets. And bed sheets and stuff. And bike things. And my hand tools. And now the sewing kit. I've only been cosplaying for a few years and i have a small cabinet next to my normal closet i keep all my cosplay stuff in while hanging my costumes in my normal closet. I recently cleaned and organized it and found a bunch of tiny non-salvagable fabric scraps that i got rid of. Needless to say its a lot more organized :)
