I am such a brush hoarder 🙈 I’m definitely more than good on face brushes, but I would like some super precise eye brushes! Your minimalism inspires me! I love having multiple blending brushes so I don’t accidentally blend shadow from my previous looks into the look I’m creating!

haha! I agree it's nice to have a few of each type of brush, especially eye brushes, so you can at least have a clean one when there's like a bright blue shadow left on one you haven't washed yet 😅

It feels so good to declutter. I decluttered my brushes recently and organized them in my make up organizer. Works so much better.

I used to find brush videos boring (at least in comparison to makeup videos) but now I find them fascinating haha. My brush collection has definitely grown lately. I love elf brushes! They're so inexpensive yet great quality (for the most part)!

I think I have a lot of brushes for just being a regular makeup lover, but I won't throw out any until they actually break or shed haha. I use them all and rotate through them pretty often that I can't imagine getting rid of any. You did a good job decluttering!

I love brushes! :D They make me happy. I have somewhat similar collection to yours and I love the options they give me. I clean them every week although I don't wait for all of them to get dirty to wash them at once. I clean only the ones I actually used that week. Sometimes 15, sometimes 25 :D Good job on your declutter. :D

Ahh, I need to get in the habit of cleaning them every week like you!! Especially because I think having clean brushes helps me enjoy makeup application more anyway :)

I really need to wash my brushes. I've fallen into that same mindset that if I have backups, then I can use them when the others are dirty or drying. But I don't end up washing them, so.... I should also declutter some, because my cups that I keep them in are getting crowded. I really wanted you to keep the mini Eco Tools brushes! (I have the same set and they were also some of my first brushes.) You could always keep them in your travel bag, if you don't use them every day.

Yes!! I sometimes go weeks at a time without washing them, and I know it's not great for the brushes or my skin! Hopefully decluttering will help that. Haha, I'm glad I kept the ecotools brushes too- it seems like so many of us share the same experience of those having been some of our first brushes! So cool!

I love how small your collection is really. I have your total amount of brushes in blending brushes and sometimes I am searching for one and I am like ... jeeze where are you hiding. It's insane. But I have such a thing for brushes and I cant seem to get rid off any ./

I totally understand! There's nothing wrong with that! The good thing about brushes is that they don't expire like makeup products do :)
