Do you have any idea how much I was looking forward to this? I love gardens (although it is sometimes quite challenging to include such decorative plans into functional base, with all the new crafting stations that are needed) and this is awesome. Thank you!

Walked into this game expecting a violent, brutal survival game and actually got a surprisingly cozy building, farming and crafting game with some really interesting decoration options. Thanks for taking the time to make this and inspire me to make my villages and settlements more interesting!

Aww, thank you, really glad to hear we could inspire you! Being able to play the way you want is the beauty of the game. You can literally just use it as a sandbox building game if you want or are bored of other things - and the building & Decorating is really one of the best there is game-wise. 🙂

WOW! There are some really amazing ideas in here. Some seem simple enough, but others are structurally complicated, but look amazing- that pathway rest stop, for the perfect example. I really liked the small garden with the two tent-covered areas on either side. I also loved the 'fence' made from pillars and plantar boxes. Thanks again for some great ideas. I've posted several of your Deco & Building Tips videos in the tutorial section of my server's Discord channel. This serves two purposes: (1) I can easily find them later when I need to for inspiration and (2) it allows others on my server to easily see them and utilize them for inspiration for their own builds. Keep up the great work and thanks for all the wonderful concepts!

@@Pixelcave Not too kind, you deserve every bit of the praise! :) Just off the top of my head, and because I’m currently building at the Northern Aqueduct, I bet a water build video would be a lot of fun! Both in terms of building on or near water, and water features. I’m using the entire falls off the aqueduct to have flowing water cascading down the middle of my tower!
@Tewaz12 жыл бұрын
I’ll also be building platforms, lowered just below water level, scattered across the lake for each religious shrine, and I’ll use sloped roofs and sloped wedge roofs to build various “petal-like” structures around the shrines, depending on the mood of that deity, to look like various colored water Lillie’s with a light from the shrine shining into the sky around the tower.

The barrel (non)snapping trick doesn't seem to work anymore. My fence foundations always snap, regardless. If I can manage to get it to not snap, as soon as I delete the barrel, it snaps again. Should this still be working in this age/patch?

Good question, since they changed the whole building system since then. Gonna have to try this, will let you know.

where do I find the stone paved walkways? I cant find them anywhere in the build menu.
@Pixelcave2 жыл бұрын
The Paved Stone Walkways are part of the Riders of Hyboria DLC pack. The DLC also features the Stable building pieces/placeables, Weather Vanes, etc. If you are interested, we made a video about all DLC packs ever released. Here you can see each item included in the pack: kzbin.info/www/bejne/paeTeaOLg7qafJI

@@Pixelcave Hi and thanks but I have all DLCs and can find the stable stuff in the build menu BUT I CANNNOT find the paved stone walkway anywhere. I been searching for days now and still cant find them anywhere in the construction interface.
@Pixelcave2 жыл бұрын
@aphrospice Oh, so sorry! I totally misunderstood your question there, now I get it! I just logged in and had a look - haven't used them myself since 3.0. Be ready for it... it seems they don't count as building pieces, so they are sorted under Decorations > Decorative, just after all the Paintings (pretty much towards the bottom of the category). Yes, I know, the build menu makes at times no sense and having no search function isn't helping either - hopefully we get one in future. Crazy!

Are you referring to the little house itself or something else? The house is just a very basic build, nothing special. Any particular thing you want to know?
@Mk12-302 жыл бұрын
@@Pixelcave Sorry, I should’ve been more specific. The thrall with Yamatai clothing. Looks like a merge of the tannery and planters, but not sure how to do this without mods?
@Pixelcave2 жыл бұрын
@everybodyvsME_ No worries. Unfortunately, that's currently only possibly through mods. It's a Thespian (a decorative, poseable Thrall you can get through a mod) using the Tinker emote (also only available via mods for now). We posed the Thespian in front of the planters, so it looks like the gardener is working on the plants. Maybe we get more Follower Emotes in the game in future, it's definitely nice for creating immersive scenes.
