That is a great question Deborah. Yes, I used only the 2 middle rows and I zigzaged between them so that the deco mesh is evenly distributed on the wreath form. I did not attach any deco mesh to the outside rows 🤗

I usually choose the mesh and then the technique I use for a particular wreath. If you are going to use the same cruffle method but using the 10" mesh just play it by ear and fill each section until it is full and you cannot see the wreath base any more. Hope this helped Connie 🤗

Love the cross but I have a quick question when you mention how many ruffles in each section so you mention 8,8,,12,6 I'm a little confused on this. Do you mean a total of eight in each section or eight ruffles on each wire in each section making it 16 total in the section

The section on that cross wreath are different lengths so that is why I mention the different sizes. Just start filling in your wreath until it looks full to you and keep in might you can put less where you are going to add decoration 😊👌

Nadia - I have had very bad luck with Dollar Tree deco mesh. But then I saw this cross wreath and HAD TO MAKE IT, so I went to JoAnn’s and got their deco mesh. It’s much nicer, but it’s only 5.5 inches. Will it work?

Yes Kari, absolutely. It is only a half inch difference and since this method is cruffle, it will fill out nicely. Have fun making it 😉👌
