Thanks for the real world speed test. These are the scenarios I wanna know. I'm never the only person on the our home network and my main PC is in an addition off of an addition and I've been debating on going full mesh or just getting a powerline adapter

I bought the 3 pack from Costco to replace x20 OMG world of difference. Even at the furthest point just using 6ghz backhaul and not wired I'm getting 600mb DL /550 UL speed compared to 130-150 mb speeds i was getting with the X20 at the furthest.

Has anyone had any issues with decreased speed on these? Recently purchased this system and have 1gig down and up. I set this up and as I did so, I decided to run a test being the sole device on the main (and only hooked up) node. I would only get ~400mbps down and got my full upload speed. After hooking up the other nodes and adding other devices, I got the same results. I've used different cables, turned off Qos, disabled the different frequencies and same results. Through different tests, it shows that the router (main node) is bringing in my full speeds, but only putting out about half the download.. I do get my full speeds connected via Ethernet, but the WiFi download speeds just struggle to get to or past 400mbps

Awesome video, thank you. Could you manually assign devices to either 2.4 or 5ghz? Or is it all automated? Netgear Orbi doesn't allow you to pick. I want home automation on 2.4 and phones/audio/streaming on 5. Cheers.

@@davidm4689 you can set in the app IoT network option which is strictly 2.4 so all those devices are separate from the main network but you can still manage it all through the app. Otherwise devices by default that can only work on 2.4 will connect to 2.4.

I have the 2 pack version of it and I have setup the main deco xe75 pro is setup in access point and is plugged into main isp router witch is acting as a dchp server. I have noticed both deco xe75 pro have green led indicating they have internet but the second deco xe75 pro is not getting an ip address at all I had plugged it into main isp router still not get an ip address on second deco xe75 pro

When in access point mode it doesn't get its own IP address from the DHCP, it just passes network traffic as if it was wired switch.

did you end up finding out why the wifi upload speeds were lower than eero's?

I did not, I have had the Deco ever since and it has been fine, but I might switch back to eero, I like their app better
