hello and thank you so much for the amazing tutorial, but I have a question. you see when you placed beams and columns in autocad, some beams where not connected to the center of the columns, rather they off to the side. but when you model it in RSAP you chose to place the beams on the center of the column. kindly could you please explain more on this issue? won't this make a big difference in the results of the analysis and design? thank you again.

first of all thank you for your efforts to post such a helpful video but i have several questions, when you draw beams randomly the local axis will not be the same for all the beams , is it ok?? and for the slab as you can see its connected to the middle of the beam not on top of it , dose it change the analysis process ?
@Decodebd5 жыл бұрын
Local gravitational axis is in same direction, so no problem.For slab also not an issue. If you want to make it more specific you can relocate at top.
