so recently there has been a youtuber that has gone into gravity falls who had not watched it before called Ozone , pretty good guy I recommend to watch him but anyways he has uncovered that the matrixes in the intro pic of bill cipher says something about going from a 2d world to the 3d world which is an obvious reference to bill cipher wanting to get out of his world and get into gravity falls. I recommend everyone reading this to go watch his analysis and reactions it gives nostalgia and fresh content about the actual series this matrixes thing has been also shown in a short he has uploaded

36:52 I originally also had issues with the “broken continuity” introduce by journal 3, but there’s a throwaway line by Dipper towards the end that says that the aftermath of Weirdmageddon restored the journals to their complete condition, thus magically regenerating previously lost pages. So, we’re supposed to assume that the book Dipper has in the series was missing a lot of content that was later saved. He even comments on how he wished he could’ve seen all that sooner

WOW! To think, they included genuine lore and clues in their flash games. That's WILD! And it's really funny how some of the most revealing secrets to the lore went almost completely unnoticed at large. Nobody making theories at the time EVER brought up these pieces of lore, and Old Man McGucket wasn't on anyone's radar until that fake leak.
@larhyperhair3 ай бұрын
Not to be a turbo nerd about journal 3, but they put in a funny little Retcon near the end, (Spoilers for Journal 3) When dipper gets the Journals back after bill is defeated he writes something along the lines of: "It seems like the Journals are in way better condition than when I found them, and this one has a bunch of pages I've never seen before! They must have been ripped out, this would have been SO MUCH EASIER if I had this info back at the beginning of summer!" Implying of course that some of the pages WE'RE reading are missing from the In-show Journal 3

I'm deeply convinced that either the whole Theraprism or Bill Cipher himself get their own shows. Would explain why Hirsch adds more and deeper lore to them (Bill's parents, theraprism in general, the oracle). I think everyone is realizing now how much Hirsch loves to say without really saying it, and imo this entire book about Bill is a teaser trailer itself.

While stan singing "We'll meet again" might make it seem like he is still at least somewhat posessed by Bill, I feel like shaking the statues hand would not make you make a pact with Bill. After all it's stated several times that the statue is just the bodily remains of Bill, presumably his" shell" he needs to traverse the 3rd Dimension, while he himself actually lives on somewhere else in a different form. This would also make sense as we know that the hengemaniacs now live in a dimension named R34LITY which seems to be our Dimension, implying that gravity falls plays in a different Dimension. Why the shell of Bill would be left in R3ALITY instead of the gravity falls World is a mystery but maybe the hengemaniacs maybe just brought it here?

4:04 Hey, jamooney! Soos covering the Scuttlebutt sign, Moreso, it may be the "Carla I've always loved you, but I never had the guts to say it." A bit of loser candy, Footbot, inflatable pool duck revolution, Oh yes, Ariel was a fan of all of them, she even voiced one of Pacifica's cronies. Rumble's Revenge was before Ep 13, so technically the name drop of Bill. I think Nonstop Fun dropped about 6 episodes into S2. Stanfiction by Soos. Alex also spoke on Mr Pines in an interview early on, and that's with her floppy disc night shirt. The society mind wiping the townsfolk also led to them not really questioning the weirdness anymore, and also made them less feasible pawns for Bill after Ford disappeared. "What kind of disaster needs supplies for over 60 years?", UTBAHC - Used to be about History Channel, Hot Elf, Him being cranky may reflect Ep 9 and the Mailbox saying the world ends in 3012. Much to discuss about anime. McGucket napped on the course. Apparently, upon Weirdmageddon being reversed, some Journal pages that Dipper hadn't seen were restored. Though there are references to F on the Gremloblin pages that Dipper did read onscreen. The tuft on the back of their head. Lefty Well, the former two would be post Ep 32, then Weirdmageddon aftermath and a 196?. Clones 3 & 4 may've intended rebelling in the journal. Age paradox is about the baby being Shermie. Even a Journal 4 on the left. Tad Strange debacle reference I already saw the the Shop at Home outtakes, and had no idea the codes led to it. Matt Braly was pretty much who influenced Pacifica's character shift in S2. Her VA also ships it. And with jamooney appearing at the start, I also wanna shout out their sequel fic from 2020-24, Return to the Falls, a little Dipcifica heavy, but great humor. I think Alex's mom drew the map. I almost wish that the mini blurbs like the Northwest Coverup were in here, but I get they aren't codes. I wonder if anyone would make a compilation of every beaver instance? Also the old podcast of Mystery Shack Lookback by Charley.
