what about when the light turns yellow, from the green arrow OR just a solid green light

Yes you are very right, I have a hard time knowing which light or lights are mine when approaching an intersection to turn left and also understanding when I have the right of way, when I have to get into the waiting position to yield and then when I need to stop before entering the intersection. I get quite nervous when I'm approaching the intersection to turn left and all the lights are a solid green as I am not sure how much to slow down in case the light turns yellow. I would like to enter at a confident and safe speed and get into the waiting position because I see the light is green but I hesitate and slow down a lot because I'm unsure if the light will change to a solid yellow and I must stop. I understand I have the right of way when there is the advance green arrow on the furthest left light and/or the lights in the corners of the intersection but it confuses me when I am approaching in the left turn lane and the arrow turns yellow. I have a ton of hesitation there because I am unsure what will come next. Some yellow arrows turn into a solid green and some turn into a solid red so I don't know what to do when that arrow turns yellow. If the arrow turns yellow, am I supposed to stop before the stop line and then wait for the solid green to pull forward and yield before turning or do I just continue pulling forward? Or what do I do if I'm pulling into the left turn at a speed that's too fast to slow down and stop safely and the arrow goes from yellow to red? I know there's many variables that go into these situations but the road rules book for BC doesn't explain this very well.
