Daniel 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
Jeremiah 25:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.
Daniel 1:21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.

I am so thankful that you are doing this study! About three years ago God told me to study the prophets who had His name in their name. When I got to Daniel I was totally lost. So I abandoned the study and frequently God has nudged me to do as He commanded me. Now I can! You are so full of knowledge and by re-arranging the book it is beginning to make sense to me! Thank you Mark! P. S. I will study this every night until I catch up with your study. I am so excited! I hope when you finish this one that you do Jeremiah and Samuel with your help I will be able to understand them all. I think the reason God told me to study His prophets with His name is because there is the answer to a question that is in our time. There must be a code that is found when they are unlocked. This is better than an Indiana Jones movie!

@@willielee5253 I do not know but His prophets had a word for the people of that time, but what if God also had one for our time as well? My life got busy with things demanding my time. They seem not so important as I look at them now but there are only so many hours in the day and by evening I would be tired and unable to study. I am glad for your question as it put me back on track. If I find a nugget I will text you back. I was also told to study the "ah" (Jonah...). It occured to me as I write this that God Himself is revealed in His prophets. I will grow closer to Him.

@@hazelkagey6739 I've often thought about Abraham and his three visitors in route to sodom and that other city. In short, Abraham (questioned) God about doing right (if) there are 50 righteous or down to 10. Ezekiel 21:3, 21:4 causes me to be mindful of how vulnerable we are as a people. Since you are on this site, then you are aware that Pastor Mark fears no man, that is to say, he lays out truth. Only God can say, there are enough righteous people to stay My Hand. But we can say, He is merciful and long suffering. I've watched David Pawson's videos and he speaks of approaching God ( interrogatively )about things he's concern about. This is the best I can do to stir you forward.

@min. 29:35, the name for the Most High in Aramaic is (illaah) a variant in Arabic is Allah. With a KJ bible that allows search for books, chapters, verses and words to be interpreted, along with a Hebrew Interliner bible app. shows you the orginal language and definition. A Greek Interliner bible can be downloaded as well. For better clarity the Interliner apps makes for greater depth of God's word. The Hebrew and Greek Interliner apps have Strong's Concordance matching # numbers for nearness of ease, for instance Strong's # 5943 is Aramaic for (illaah) and # 5945 is (elyown) both are adjectives in the Strong's Concordance

Willie Lee, I cannot comprehend where you are going with your diversionary conjecture. You seem to be suggesting that Allah is the same as Jehovah God. Most disagree. Islam religion is a fictional gathering of multiple pagan, Christian and judaism themed law and works system. The name Allah of Islam is traced to the ancient pagan Moon god. Eventually you see that Islam extremes seek to dethrone all other systems of religion. This lesson is a descrambling of ancient kingdom building motives and those many cast of characters which shows pride of man. We can thus better correlate our timing of near events between OT/NT. Methods of understanding matter. Timelines matter. God’s will is being achieved amongst these jewish and gentile characters. Even though many of these cast of characters are never synched up with God’s will. This math is astounding. I never heard a preacher/teacher effectively descramble these ancient timelines and mysteries.
