Thanks for the coverage of this announcement. Not as important for me since I’m not a professional photographer, can’t afford or justify the cost of flagship cameras, and I don’t use Canon but It’s always nice to see where the technology is going and what other manufacturers are likely working on to leapfrog the competition with their next releases. On a side note, why do you often indicate to play your videos at 1.25x speed? I’ve never seen this on any other channel and your videos seems to look and sound fine at normal 1.0x playback.

Canon mentioned Sports, News reporting & video but never wildlife in their announcement article, most likely it will be a 24-30MP camera. It will be a direct competitor for A9iii, the R5ii will compete with the A1/A1ii. Sports & Journalism photographers love 24Mp due to fastest shooting, fast workflow. A 45-60MP camera will slow them down. Anyway the autofocus part is interesting though.

Can't see Nikon being out of the limelight at Olympics time and expect Nikon z9 replacement as a person that shoots Canon and Nikon

Canon is dragging their feet on this driving their consumers crazy. Once you’ve invested in all these super expensive rf lenses, it’s too late to jump over to Sony or Nikon
