Stacey, if i want to thaw my frozen ground beef relatively fast, i submerge it into a bowl of warm water in its packaging in a bowl for 30mins, replacing the water with fresh warm water about half way through. It will be mostly thawed. 😅 always works a treat. Have you ever made hamburger gravy?? Like sausage gravy, but with hamburger. I like mine extra peppery!!! I commented before i finished watching. It looks so good! Comfort food

I may have to try that with thawing. Thus far, I have had a terrible time thawing things, and it's mostly b/c if I thaw it overnight, I don't want it the next day! So then it rots in the fridge..... But as far as the hamburger gravy - A couple of you guys have mentioned it, and up until I made this, I could not wrap my head around it! No judgement. Eat what you like, but I could NOT wrap my head around it. Then, I made this and went - Ooohhhh, I have had it, but I don't put the hamburger in the gravy. I put the gravy all over everything! - this, for example, is deconstrcted sheperds pie, but it also a form of garbage plate! But I cover my garbage plates in gravy! AHA! EUREKA . . I get it! Hamburger gravy on!

Looks hardy! Did you by chance have any canned tomatoes? Might’ve made up for not having tomato paste.

I wish I did. I am super short on tomato products atm. this was pretty tasty though!

I have canning jars that I use or coffee cans. I think draining this was a mix of both.

Lol I use a can or a pop can and put it in the sink first too. 😂

@ Yep, that's how I usually do it. I put the thing in the sink. then, I dump the grease in the thing. (I rarely show it in the videos though... maybe I should LOL)
