Obviously a song about enlightment and hidden knowledge.

@@justincabrera6865 “I remember when I lost my mind, there was something so pleasant about that place” - most of the people that become aware of things useen by the masses are considered crazy but they would never choose to go back to darkness of the mind. “And when you're out there without care; Yeah, I was out of touch; But it wasn't because I didn't know enough; I just knew too much” - basically the same: he is percieved by most as “out of touch” but it is always like this when you start seeing things (conspiratorial, spiritual, etc). “Does that make me crazy?; Possibly” - smart and aware people always consider the possibility that their beliefs are incorrect and crazy. “And I hope that you are having the time of your life; But think twice, that's my only advice” - he wishes the best to every one (and hoping that every one enjoys their life) but hints that even the percieved good in life should by doubted a little and thinking twice about one’s own beliefs and actions is always good. “Who do you think you are; Ha ha ha, bless your soul; You really think you're in control” - no one is really in control: life is manipulated by people in power controlling the governments, media and industries (when it comes to the bad things happening) and controlled and guided by the High Power (I choose to call it God) when it comes to the good. “My heroes had the heart to lose their lives out on the limb; And all I remember is thinking I want to be like them” - he admits that his heroes are the people that were non-conformists and had the bravery to oppose authority. Basically this is how I understand the lyrics. But… I might be completely wrong - think twice and doubt everything! Stay crazy!

It's not hidden knowledge. You can have it. It takes a walk off of a mental cliff assuming you will be caught, but you will be caught. I did it just like Charles. Your Creator has a net built just for you. In the same instant you realize you didn't die from the fall, you will be given a peace and understanding of things that will allow you to live a completely different existence. The trials don't go away, but you will see the world the same way he says he does in this song ✝️🔥💯🤜

The key word: encouraging.... encourage others. People may find negativity from others a reason to suppress creativity and instead conform. But what do I know..

Enlightenment - There is nothing can be done in your conscious mind. You are nothing internally but you can do a lot externally of either good or bad but strive for GOOD. Karma will come back.

I thought he was going to deconstruct the song and not completely reframe the lyrics in his own super subjective way. That's not a deconstruction. But I enjoyed it anyway. A bit preachy and clearly self-soothing as it was. Who hurt you bro? ;;) For what it's worth; I thought it was about Ceelo's own 'Awakening' process. I distinctly remember him saying something like that in an interview about writing it.

There is nothing to deconstruct. The song is a testimony to meeting his maker in the midst of a relationship.

@@ItachiUchiha-ut6xj listen to the song a few times in a row. The whole song is a double-entendre. It's a relationship song with a woman and it's a visionary song speaking on his meeting with the Holy Spirit

kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJu4YoCrrtVpkMksi=M3mOSVrw4Y2Xzt8g Barkley does his best to show everyone the deeper side, the other side of the double-entendre right here. When he says "he lost his mind" he's saying he gave his mind to his Maker, and then goes on to speak with the wisdom he was given. He wears an airline outfit on stage to show he is now a traveler with a destination.

He did crack the code. He was allowed to see beyond the veil, and he wrote this song to tell everyone.
