We did a McCartney marching band show in college (2002) that won us a ton of awards and this was our opening song. Our brass section was amazing that year and they had a ton of fun. Our flag girls had floppy sheepdog ears, fluffy leg warmers and tails that they could tear off at the end before the next song. Thanks so much for posting this. I think what this shows is how stunning each part is in its own right. The piano basically carries the song, it's a wonderful piece of piano music in its own right and tricky to play. The orchestration is not over done with with very melodic counter parts. Why do sixties brass parts sound so friggin good? George's electric part was always going to be a toughie to add to what is basically an acoustic song, but it is done to the usual George perfection. Paul's vocal, enough said!
