Just one more reason why Queen were brilliant. This song has always fascinated me. It's like a 10-ring circus. So many elements at once. Thank you for dissecting it for us.

Really impressive. So little time and working in night sessions those guys had an incredible notion of harmonies overlaying choruses and instruments in a way that only blessed geniuses would be capable of. Thanks for sharing.

this is great!! 👍🏼 and it's why Queen is brilliant, so many layers, and oddities that work though you'd think they shouldn't.... harpsichord in a rock tune???? Yes please!!! 🤣 My favorite Queen song for 50 years!

Im honestly suprised to me this song isn't doing too much at once its always just the right amount of everything at a time like they all knew exactly how they wanted it to sound before it was even finished

Why oh why did Roy Baker use compression so much??? The cymbals and BV's are mushy af. But its Johns understanding of scales for me. What a band of versatile musicians ❤
@koleberdinoch9265 ай бұрын
You can't judge compression with this, the parts are isolated digitally using software, it will inevitably sound terrible in terms of sound quality.
@topmandog13 ай бұрын
these are man made digital isolated tracks, its gonna sound weird, if you put all these tracks back together it will not sound right
